In part 2 of our Bible prophecy series, we will look at earthquakes, war and their effect, not only on humanity, but also how they are affecting prophecy. Earthquakes have always occurred since the foundation of the earth. Why are earthquakes so important now? Number and locations are the dividing factor between the earthquakes of the past and the ones we are experiencing today.

What is a seismic movement, shaking or shaking of the earth’s surface. Most earthquakes are minor tremors. Larger earthquakes usually start with mild tremors, but quickly take the form of one or more violent shocks and end in vibrations of gradually decreasing strength called aftershocks. On average, about 1,000 earthquakes with intensities of 5.0 or more are recorded each year. Large earthquakes (intensity 8.0 or higher) occur once a year, large earthquakes (intensity 7.0-7.9) occur 18 times a year, strong earthquakes (intensity 6.0-6.9) 10 times a month, and moderate earthquakes (intensity 5.0-5.9) more twice a day.

God has built a natural safety valve in the earth for expansion and contraction. This safety valve is called an earthquake. The number, magnitude, and location are important in understanding the Scriptures dealing with the last days. The first scripture we will deal with is Matthew 24:7.

1.Because nation will rise against nation, (The number of wars continues to grow each year.

In my life alone, I have seen wars in Vietnam, Grenada, the cold war with the Soviet Union, Iraq 1, Iraq 2, Afghanistan, Israel and all their wars with Egypt, Iran, Syria, the East Bank and the Gaza Strip, etc. . and The Invisible War with the Extreme Elements of Alqaeda and The Nation of Muslim Fanatics The Soviet Union and Afghanistan) and

2. kingdom against kingdom: The Muslim Nation is divided on Jehad and the way to convert all men to Mohmmad-ism. The United Nations is divided into pieces that are barely standing, due to the division between all nations.) and

3. There will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. (This section is easy to understand and relate to India, Pakistan, Africa, bird flu, etc. Fear of another pandemic is growing not only among the people of earth but also in the medical community.) (In recent years, and especially in 2005, we have seen earthquakes in China, Pakistan, the United States, South America, Japan, China, Philippens, the Soviet Union, etc.)

Mark 13:8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and riots; these are beginnings of sorrows. (“These are the beginning of sorrows.”) The Bible tells us that in the last days there will be a significant change in the nature of the earth and the attitude of man. Why is all this happening?

Man’s will, his pride, arrogance, greed for power, possessions and fame, have overtaken God’s will and man’s love for each other. Hatred, mistrust, fear, suspicion, prejudice, have become the catalyst for many disasters in the world and will be the undoing of man. To prove what I have already said, let’s look at two sections of Scripture from the Book of Revelations.

1.Revelation 14:8 And another angel followed him, saying: Babylon has fallen, has fallen (This is a past fact and a future prophecy), the great city (The habitation of the Babylonian people and the Spirit of Babylon that has changed to the man -good attitude.), because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

(“Fornication”. Extramarital sex) (Sex here means a deviation from the Truth of the Bible to join a false doctrine and a criminal conversion of the Truth of the Scriptures to follow after all kinds of cult activities.) (which deliberately and maliciously inter-fears with marital relationships Criminal conversion (People who try to worship God on the one hand and embrace false doctrine on the other.)

2. Revelation 18:2 And he cried out with a loud voice, saying: Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become the habitation of demons (Demons in this case means, People of hatred, confusion, People cruel and inhuman, haters of God and haters of man, demon-possessed), and den of every unclean spirit, and shelter of every unclean and hateful bird.

(The word “bird” in Revelation 18:2 means, A cry or noise to show contempt or displeasure, a cry of hatred and prejudice.) If you have noticed in Revelation 14:8 and 18:2, the phrase is repeated ” has fallen, has fallen.” Why? In Hebrew, when a subject or word is mentioned twice, it means that the event mentioned will occur twice. Babylon the City was destroyed, The spirit of Babylon will also be destroyed.

This is what is starting to happen today. The Nations of the world have become what God already destroyed once, Babylon. Luke 21:11 And there will be great earthquakes in divers (Many) places, and famines and pestilences; and terrible spectacles (tsunamis) and great signs will be from heaven. (Meteorites, Meteorites, Comets.)

Revelation 11:13. And in the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city (Jerusalem) fell, and seven thousand men died in the earthquake: (a tenth of the population of the city) (This means a population at that time of this earthquake to 700,000 people)

(The population of Jerusalem, according to the censorship at the end of 2003, was 693,200 people.) and the remnant got scared and gave glory to the God of heaven. Zechariah 14:3-7; Then the Lord will go out, and he will fight against those nations, as he fought in the day of battle. And his feet will stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives will split in the middle of it to the east and to the west, and there will be a valley very big; and half of the mountain will move to the north, and the other half to the south.

And you will flee to the valley of the mountains; because the valley of the mountains will reach Azal; Yea, ye shall flee, as ye fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with you. And it will come to pass on that day, that the light will be neither clear nor dark; but it will be a day that will be known by the Lord, not the day nor the night; but it will come to pass that at evening time there will be light.)

Revelation 16:18-19 And there were voices, thunder and lightning; and there was a great earthquake, such as there was not since there were men on the earth, such a strong earthquake, and so great. (For the past three years, we have been reporting that the time is coming when the world will force Israel to partition Jerusalem with the Palestinian Authority. Well, that time is here. Keep an eye on the next few years for a “political move” to use the estab- construction of the next Jewish temple as a bargaining chip for Israel to divide its capital.

The division of Jerusalem would fit Bible prophecy. We must keep in mind that the Lord declared that once the Jews took possession of Israel again (1947) it would never again return to the Gentiles. Therefore, half of Jerusalem does not constitute a total surrender of her. I think this topic could be the springboard that Satan will use to bring in his false Messiah, the Antichrist.
