Why is Serena Williams so ugly?

Now don’t get me wrong, even though tennis player Serena Williams doesn’t do anything for me personally, I don’t call her ugly in a physical sense, notice when her elegantly designed dress got caught in the wind at Wimbledon, she had to get into her shorts , * That * wasn’t a good look!

No, this is what I mean when I call her ugly …

Serena and her older sister Venus are great stories of goal achievement.
His father decided that they would both win Wimbledon and set out to learn how to coach the game, then set out to coach them.

Their style of play led to a big change in the way women’s tennis is played, and combined with their habit of reading motivational notes between games, they became both famous and successful, both ending up as Wimbledon champions.

They also seemed to woo (excuse the pun) a lot of controversy, taking injuries both on and off the court at convenient times, and the two never played well when faced off.

This year at Wimbledon 2007, Serena was back in the headlines.

In a couple of early games she had drawn comments for her excessive yelling and self-drama when she was winning!
Then it came against Daniella Hantuchova from Slovakia.

Hantuchova is a popular player on the circuit, but she is known to have a fragile state of mind on the court.

The match was in full flow when Serena collapsed to the ground as if she had been shot, and proceeded to scream as if she had been shot.
After a long treatment, he limped around the court with a puppyish expression, until the rain came and he received vital treatment.

When they resumed play, Serena alternated between running and jumping around the court when she gained a point, and exaggeratedly limping when she lost a point.

This certainly played in the mind of Hantuchova, whose game quickly fell apart and Serena won.

It was undeniable sportiness, and unpleasant to watch.
On the goal-achievement front, she did her job, won the match, and shows that she is ready to do whatever it takes to achieve her goal.

However, I also like to maintain integrity, and to be a two-time former champion in the sport’s most prestigious tournament, I would expect more.

So Serena, we’ll definitely see you again, but maybe not so ugly next time?
