How to improve your own life quickly!

Are you frustrated with your life? Why is it so hard to live such a short life? Do you want to self-improve it? Below are five tips to improve your life quickly.

1. Get rid of the “little me”

In “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind,” Dr. Joseph Murphy tells of an incident with the great operatic tenor Caruso, who suffered from stage fright. He was thinking about all the negative things that, “They’ll laugh at me. I can’t sing.” He then proceeds to yell in the presence of the people backstage: “The little me wants to strangle the big me inside! Get out little me, the big me wants to sing through me! Come out, come out, the big me.” he is going to sing! “

With this, he manages to eliminate the fear and self-hit that have caused the failure of many capable people. It’s this kind of self-hitting by “Little Me” that kicks in your confidence and your talents. Remember that in each one there is always a “Big Me” and a “Little Me”. Who do you want to give authority through you?

2. Give “Love” to everyone around you

“Love” gives you the feeling of happiness when you are with your loved ones. Why not spread this “Love” to everyone you know? By this I mean giving them the warmth and happiness that you usually give your loved ones. Doing so will help you feel happy too. It feels like doing social services. But the difference is that you don’t need to wait until Saturday and Sunday!

3. Go out and meet more people

When you have few or no friends, you more or less beat yourself up when you’re alone, especially after seeing another group of friends together on the street. Get out there, join some activity groups and meet more people! If you feel like you’re “unworthy” of meeting more people or that they won’t like having you around, reread my first point. Your “Little Me” is talking!

4. Go to social services

To expand on my second point, go out and join some social services to help others who really need it. Remember that no matter how bad your life is, there is always someone else who is worse off. When you are with them, you will realize that they may not even think that your situation is bad. They may even envy you compared to themselves. This is a very important point to remember. But I don’t want you to make fun of how worse they are compared to you. I want you to know that the bad thing that happened to you is a small case compared to the others.

Don’t say you don’t have money to do social services. Social services do not always require money. By helping a Nursing Home to install some equipment that the elderly cannot do themselves, you are also doing social services. Remember that what goes around comes around. When you help more people, more people will help you too.

5. If you feel bad, don’t do it

If someone asks you to do something, how do you feel? Are you accepting the task willingly? Or do you have something else to complete and this adds to your burden? If you feel unhappy about it, can you say “no”? Maybe your boss asked you to do a certain task for him/her and you feel like you can’t turn it down. Ask your boss if the task is more urgent than your current task, if not, can you finish the task he currently has and then start on your new task? If the new task is urgent, request a new due date for your current task. This way you have more time and you won’t feel bad about not being able to complete both tasks.

If you do a task halfway through and feel overwhelmed with frustration at not being able to complete it, stop! Get up, go out and do something else for a while. Take your mind off the task for a while. Do not think it. Listen to relaxing music, drink coffee, or stretch. When you return five minutes later, you’ll feel better to get on with the task, not to mention a fresher mind!

Life is always trying to take control of you when you are overwhelmed by many things. Start to regain control and improve your life. Self-improvement is not difficult, you just need to know the ways to improve it. Keep improving and you will be surprised that one day you have become an inspiration to the people around you!

Wishing you all the best.
