Nintendo Beats PDA WiFi Games

Nintendo’s Wi-Fi plan for portable Nintendo DS gaming is pushing it a few leagues ahead of the pack.

According to the TechNewsWorld site, Nintendo DS Wi-Fi gamers on the go will participate in free online Wi-Fi games in areas of Asia and Europe.

This will allow Nintendo DS owners to find users online at WiFi hotspots, even hopping around with wireless setups at home.

Nintendo has already outgrown Pocket PC WiFi gamers with its recent wireless access deal for McDonald’s customers.

The former delivered an industry knockout by making 7,500 hotspots available in the UK.

A bit of free access for those lucky Nintendo DS owners who are probably thanking the gaming gods right now.

It will be pure WiFi hotspot overload for WiFi PDA gamers who were already therein terms of technology.

Nintendo DS users are not only gaining ground, they are also passed the WiFi PDA gaming community. At least for the moment.

Wireless connection mode selection on this handheld is simple next to the comparatively encrypted Pocket PC.

Third-party PDA apps help a bit, but basic WiFi setup on the Pocket PC can be an exercise in frustration for some users.

Seems to get easier with each subsequent windows mobile release.

It is for these reasons that some say that Pocket PC games are for the more tech-savvy.

Instead, hopefully WiFi gaming will be easier on Pocket PC to level the playing field.
