Indulging my wanderlust and innate fearless nature of an adventurer, I gave in to my passion for exploration and the thrill of trying new and delicious cuisines. Traveling to capture the essence of life and lifestyles, I set out on a tour that was an unusual but perfectly chosen treat that was right up my alley. Knowing my adventurous nature, it was just like me to choose a trip that combined cuisines, cultures and curries! With my wanderlust for the unique and unforgettable, my trip combined the quintessence of travel and while it was long, it was packed to the max. brimming with lasting experiences for the explorer.

With adventure running through my veins and anticipating the thrill of discovering exotic cuisines and the perfect vacation destinations, I decided to take a trip to India. I was thrilled to travel through the vast and diverse terrain of an exotic South Asian country that evolved over 5 millennia from the famed Himalayan mountains to the coast of the Indian Ocean. Surrounded by exciting and exotic history, India is the second most populous country and the seventh largest with over 1.2 billion people.

And then… nostalgia hit with a great trip to the Taj Mahal, Agra, which is about 3.5 hours from Delhi. Inspiring me with her love story, the Taj Mahal or the Crown of the Palace spoke volumes with her passion. I was impressed by the Mughal architecture and its spectacular features, which was illuminated by the fact that this gesture of love was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. My journey through time began when I traversed the charisma and culture with historical sites. which stretched over the Red Fort, Qutb Minar, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb and other wonderful places in the city. Delhi took me on a journey of culinary discovery where I went on a long but lovely culinary journey with the popular street food, Mughlai and Frontier.

Experiencing the aromas of India

I really wanted to visit Mumbai where I grew up playing Gully cricket, eating world famous street food, enjoying Golgappes, Misal Pav, Dahi Misal and Pav Bhaji. I went on a much needed culinary journey, getting a taste of the delicious side of life with traditional Shahi Mughal dishes, Biryani and Butter Chicken and countless fabulous and spicy dishes in Mumbai.

Bringing back memories of teenage days, I escaped to the kitchen landscape of ‘Mumbaiah’ and re-experienced delicious culinary delights. Spicy Chaat snacks that tickle the taste buds like Vada Pav, Bhelpuri, Dahipuri, Panipuri, Sevpuri, Ragda Pattis, Kebabs, the popular Mumbai sandwiches including other local favorites were a source of authentic gastronomic delights recalling memorable times . Mumbai’s culinary scene has consistently filled my soul with hearty and delicious dishes as I embarked on a repertoire of Konkani Coastal Foods, South Indian Foods and Snacks, Seafood, Bori Mohalla Cuisine, Mangalore Foods, Northern Dishes from India, Parsi food trails and others. best regional. My all-time favorite desserts were Kulfi, ice pops and amazing sweet yummy concoctions.

After buying some souvenirs for my friends in the US at the Bombay Bazaar, I took a stroll down Mumbai Marine Drive and watched the sunset cast a beautiful aura of light on the grand architecture of the Taj Palace. And what can I say about the humble but flavorful Bade Miya behind the Taj Hotel who cooked up a storm of kebab and curry dishes that were a treat for the weary adventurer? This was total bliss that added an overflowing sense of satisfaction.

Relaxed and rejuvenated in a relaxed way, I landed in Goa as she lured me in with her beautiful beaches, Goan concerts, amazing cuisine, sun, sea and sand. Combined with a bohemian lifestyle and carefree mindset, I set out to enjoy Goan culture, curry and cuisine. Indulging in fish curry and rice alongside other local seafood dishes, I ventured into Portuguese flavors including Pork Vindaloo, Sorpotel, Calfreal and Beef Xacuti which took the palate to a pinnacle of delicious heights. Robust and satisfying, Britos at Calangute on the beach presented a charming atmosphere with excellent seafood. While the Ritz punctuated my culinary journey with Goan masala prawns, crab cakes, pork vindaloo, chilli pork and other supreme dishes, my flavor-packed journey was quenched by local beers including cashew and coconut feni. Peppers, Margoa sprinkled my taste bud encounters with traditional Goan seafood classics and some global dishes while she let my taste buds go on a sweet journey with Bebinca and other local delicacies.

My journal of travel notes was packed when I got home, creating a bubble of anticipation and delight as I planned another exploration into the myriad colorful world of travel.
