The process of 2 Ways Sync with Google Calendar

The Microsoft Outlook calendar, set by default on most PCs, syncs with Google’s main calendar. Once this sync feature is selected, any changes made to events on either calendar will automatically be visible on both. Any modification made to any of them will be forced to be reflected in the other as well. This process is known as two-way synchronization with Google Calendar.

This process synchronizes two applications on the computer in such a way that any changes made in one of them will be forced to be displayed in the same way in the other application. If a single event undergoes more than one alteration, all the modifications are not visible in both applications. If you make multiple changes to an event in one calendar, the most recent updates will show up in the other along with the same changes in the previous app.

Similarly, two-way synchronization with the Google Calendar application allows a user to not delete a particular event from both applications on a computer. If you delete an event from your Microsoft Outlook calendar, the same event will also be automatically deleted from the other calendar. If you make any updates to either one, you’ll also find the same changes to the events visible to you in the other app. Therefore, this synchronization method has an advantage over the other two synchronization options available in both calendars.

Of the three sync options available on these two calendars, this method is the most prominent. Unlike the previous two, this one manages to efficiently aggregate important updates and modifications made in either app and allows it to be effectively visible in both. This eases the efforts used to make the same changes in both Microsoft Outlook and Google.

Even in the case of one-way synchronization with Google calendar with Microsoft Outlook calendar and one-way synchronization with Microsoft Outlook calendar with Google calendar, this function is not possible. In the former, the changes made in the Microsoft Outlook calendar will not be reflected in the other calendar, while in the latter case, the changes made in the Google calendar will not be reflected in the Microsoft Outlook calendar.

This system allows you to effectively see the modifications made in one application so that they are visible in the other. Due to this unique feature, this process is much more popular than the other two processes.
