The practice of Shaolin Kung Fu developed significantly after Bodhidharma, the twenty-eighth patriarch of Chinese Buddhism, the first patriarch of Shaolin Chan, came to the temple in (457 CE). His first innovation was the introduction of internal training routines organized in powerful ‘classic’ ways.

5 Elements Internal Kung Fu (Wuxing)

Less known than its external counterpart in the West, internal Kung Fu is more difficult to learn and more valued wherever it is practiced, especially for its ability to considerably prolong the lives of practitioners. The 5 Elements: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth, including the interior of the body and its main internal organs and internal training routines, strengthen and interrelate them.

Harnessing the body’s qi while holding extreme body positions increases the power of the torso, arms and legs, greatly increasing the effectiveness of many techniques and ultimately leading to the acquisition of the legendary ‘iron shirt’ ‘Wuxing’ means both 5 Elements and 5 Animals in Chinese and there are fundamental links between the two.

5 animal style (Wuxing)

The 5 Elements make up the physical world and the next great Shaolin innovation was the development of 5 Animals, which represent the 5 Elements to help externalize their inner power into 5 stylized forms for use in combat. The technique incorporates admirable “higher” aspects of animal behavior, not blind savagery.

The 5 traditional animals: snake, crane, leopard, tiger and dragon are ranked in that order. The first two are considered lower animals, the last two higher animals, and the mid-range leopard as a ‘bridge’ animal linking the first two categories.

Long Fist (Changchuan)

The first distinctive ‘variant’ of Shaolin Changchuan ‘long fist’ Kung Fu originated from the establishment of the Sung Dynasty by the general Zhao Kuang-Yin (960-1269 CE). Zhao Kuang-Yin, later the Shaolin-trained second emperor of Taizu China, is the Tai Jo (Supreme Founder) of the style.

Longfist practitioners have the mobility, agility, dexterous footwork, plus the ability to leap and leap, to fight effectively on steep and obstacle-filled terrain such as battlefields. Longfist’s kicking techniques and long-range attacks made him ideal for General Zhao’s campaign to reunify a divided China, and he embodies the original 5 elements and animals that emerged from his training in the Shaolin Temple.

Fist of the 5 Ancestors (Wu Tzu Quan)

The Chee Kim Thong School attributes the founding of Wu Tzu Quan to the 13th century efforts of Bai Yue Feng, towards the end of the Sung Dynasty (see above). At this time, the Shaolin Temple was quite weak, and Bai Yue Feng was inspired by Zhou Kuang-Yin’s previous achievements, also the Tai Jo of this style.

Many monks migrated, stripped, and resettled in frontier areas during the Tang dynasty, to help in the recurring fights against nomadic raids. Bai Yue Feng explored these areas in search of Masters to help him craft a new style, to invigorate contemporary Shaolin.

Bai Yue Feng persuaded 5 Masters to return for this purpose. These were: a White Crane expert; prominent jumpsuit stylist; a renowned practitioner of Tai Jo (Fists of the Emperor); a Master Lohan (Immortal Fist) plus another specialized in Kung Fu of the 5 Inner Elements of Da Mo. These are the ‘5 Ancestors’ and their specialties, the 5 key elements of 5 Ancestors Fist!

in general

Da Mo’s continuing influence on Shaolin Kung Fu can be discerned throughout this progression of styles and continues unabated today. Zhao Kuang-Yin, the ‘Emperor’ of Emperor Fist is an equally influential figure arising from the same tradition.

TORONTO RAPTOR 20-34

What has changed? Toronto rewarded Jalen Rose’s game-winning goal against the Kings with a trade to the New York Knicks. In exchange they received Antonio Davis to help Chris Bosh in the front zone. While Davis hasn’t made the biggest impact yet, it looks like good things are on the horizon.

Chris Bosh’s 22.5 points and 9.2 rebounds were rewarded with a well-deserved All-Star berth. Mike James, Charlie Villanueva and Morris Peterson also continue their good years.

The Raptors have a smooth and effective offense that scores 100.1 points a night. Toronto is also in the top 10 in FG%, 3P%, FT%, and billing. Villanueva and Bonner add points off the bench and Calderón does an effective job running the offense.

However, Toronto has a lot to be desired on the defensive end. The Raptors are last in rebounds, 26 in steals, 29 in blocks and allow 102.4 per game. Bosh and Davis aren’t as bad as Joey Craham, who will always be remembered for giving up 81 to Kobe Bryant.

Toronto, like the Orlando Magic, will measure its success in the future rather than the present. After starting 1-15, they looked like fools for ditching Vince Carter. Since then they are 20-19. They have a very difficult schedule in these last games, and it is not likely that they will have a great run. But the least we can expect from them is that they will play their best against whoever they play against.

As a native son, I know it doesn’t take much to get the average Alabaman excited. Double coupon day at Kroger will; the opening of a Super Wal-Mart; an Elvis sighting; a batch of Georgia lottery tickets smuggled in by a co-worker and sold at cost. But I was surprised by the reception Microsoft CEO Bill Gates got when he came to Alabama last week. You would have thought Oprah was on trial here for badmouthing grits, the way people behaved. One particularly impressed guy gushed, “I just shook hands with the richest man in the world! I may never wash my hand again!”

Mate, you need a hobby. Try aisle 5.

Maybe all the fuss was because Billy Bob Gates (his honorary Alabama name) came to Dixie to give away money, something we Alabamans will be lining up to see, especially if there’s a chance we could get a dollar or two. Gates donated $2.7 million to pay for computers and Internet access for Alabama public libraries in an effort to bring cyberspace to disadvantaged Alabama residents. A noble gesture, but I bet the underprivileged would have preferred cash.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but Bill Gates coughing up $2.7 million is the monetary equivalent of looking for change on my couch. Consider these numbers: Bill’s estimated worth is $48 billion. That’s a 48 and a bunch of zeros. On average, Bill earns $120 per second, $7,200 per minute, $432,000 per hour, $10,368,000 per day, $72,576,000 per week, $3.7 billion per year. Poor sap. I guess I shouldn’t be too hard on him. Imagine what the IRS does to you every April 15th.

Bill and his entourage (which included his wife and three bodyguards specially trained to handle terrorist attacks) visited two Alabama libraries that received his donation: one in Selma and one in Demopolis. He then went to Montgomery for a meeting with our beloved Governor Fobio James. It was on the way to Montgomery that Bill met another great American: Delbert Lee Knox.

Delbert Lee, a second cousin on my father’s side, is considered by most in the family to be what my grandfather calls, “the one who fell out of the tree and didn’t land on his head,” which, loosely translated into semi-English coherent means: the boy did well. Delbert Lee is known around the world as “Delvis: The Elvis Impersonator’s Impersonator.” His impersonations of him from other impersonators are amazing! He is like Elvis to the third power. And you should watch him do the Elvis Stamp (young AND old versions). It is creepy!

That achievement alone is enough for Delbert Lee to sit at the head of the big-name table at every family function, but he has another claim to fame. He is also the mayor of Goober Falls, Alabama, a small hamlet along the highway to Demopolis. It was there that Delbert Lee met and spent several minutes with Bill Gates. I’m sure neither of them will ever be the same again. I spoke to Delbert Lee shortly after their impromptu meeting, and here’s what he had to say.

Tim Knox: So DL, what was it like shaking hands with the richest man in America?

Delbert Lee: It was something, TK! I may never wash my hand again.

HL: How did you end up in Goober Falls?

DL: I think you had too much sweet tea in Selma because you had to stop by Arnie’s Gas-n-Go to use the facilities. Arnie called me to say he was out there, so I asked him to hold the little boy in the bathroom until I could get there.

TK: You caught the richest man in America in a gas station bathroom? I was upset?

DL: Well, at first it was. Then Arnie gave her one of those pine air fresheners for her limo and all was forgiven.

TK: What was he like?

DL: Well, it wasn’t as tall as I thought it would be. And he had listed it as much older. I mean, Wal-Mart started almost forty years ago, you know.

TK: DL, you’re thinking of Sam Walton. The guy you met was Bill Gates, the CEO of Microsoft.

DL: (Pause) Bill Gates? Who the hell is Bill Gates?

TK: Have you ever heard of a little thing called the Internet, DL?

DL: Race that I have! Down here we get the X-Files off the satellite dish, you know?

TK: I have an idea, DL. Bill Gates wants to put the average Alabaman on the Internet and since there is no Alabaman more average than you, how about letting me test your Internet knowledge?

DL: I am your faithful hunting dog, HL. Fire when ready.

So I did a little test on Delbert Lee. I asked him to define the following terms. Your responses are in bold.

Bytes: What my dog Priscilla does when you pull her tail.

Megabytes: What you get when you eat Super Size the McNuggets at McDonald’s.

Megahertz: The world’s largest car rental company.

Monitor: One of those big lizards from Japan.

Keypad – Where Arnie hangs the bathroom key on the Gas-n-Go.

Scuzzy (SCSI): A woman of disrepute.

Hard drive: Any road trip involving my mother-in-law.

Modem: What I did to the weeds growing in my garden.

Hardware: My drawers when Lurleen doesn’t use fabric softener.

Software: That frilly underwear you see in the Victoria’s Secret catalog.

Mouse: Like a gopher rat, only smaller.

Mouse Pad: Where does that mouse live?

Online: where you are when you expect to get your cheese from the government.

Service Provider: A truck stop waitress.

RAM: My Dodge truck, for God’s sake.

ROM: Jimmy Buffet’s favorite drink. Goes well with Coke.

Random Access Memory: When I conveniently forget to tell Lurleen that I’ve been drinking with Arnie and the boys.

WWW: The international branch of the World Wrestling Federation.

Virus: Something that cannot be cured without penicillin or fungal medicine.

Reboot: What you have to do when you wear out the souls of your Dingos.

Microsoft: really fine toilet paper.

Geocities – A city where everyone drives a tiny little car.

URL: What Lurleen Chicken Fries In. Crisco is her favorite.

Closing Down: What happens when the vice squad storms the trailer park on Saturday night.

TK: Thank you, D.L. I’ll see you at the next meeting.

DL: No, HL, thanks. Thank you so much.

Eastern Conference

  1. Boston Celts. The Celtics have had a lot of injuries to their big people, but Doc Rivers has a masterful job of taking care of them during the regular season so they’re healthy for the playoffs. He’s pushing them a little harder this year for the No. 1 seed in the East because he wants Miami and Chicago to beat each other in the second round.
  2. Chicago Bulls. The Bulls have survived a serious injury to Joakim Noah and are still keeping pace with the Celtics and Heat. Derrick Rose has become the best point guard in the league and the Taj Gibson and the eternal Kurt Thomas played well in Noah’s absence. The Bulls need Noah and Boozer to play together because they’ve only played a handful of games together.
  3. miami heat. The big three are meshing well together and their last close loss to the Celtics showed that they are closing in on the Celtics. It looks like they will end up playing the Bulls in the second round, who seem to be a playoff nightmare for them because they have more depth up front. They could use a big, serviceable body like the Grizzlies’ Marc Gasol.
  4. Magic Orlando. The big trade earlier in the season took away their frontcourt depth. Dwight Howard is playing a lot of heavy minutes. Even Superman needs to rest. Gilbert Arenas has not fit in and has looked out of shape. The need for him to go back to the Gilbert Arenas of old or they will be one and end up in the playoffs.
  5. Atlanta Falcons. They have two stars in Joe Johnson, Al Horford and a lot of good players, but they lack chemistry and consistency. The Hawks appear to suffer from chronic plover head syndrome. It may be time to switch to a Johnson or a Horford to improve. Otherwise, they’ll be a playoff appetizer for the Celtics again if they make it to the second round.
  6. The New York Knicks. The Knicks are in a tough spot in the Carmelo draft. He wants them, they want him, but their crosstown rivals in soon-to-be Brooklyn have a better offer and are forcing the Knicks to up the ante. It doesn’t matter either way because they’ll be sitting ducks for the Heat or the Bulls in the playoffs.
  7. Philadelphia 76ers. Jrue Holiday has made great strides this year and the 76ers will make the playoffs, which really should be the lottery team. His only goal is hopefully for the Knicks to slide and they can move up a spot in the standings.
  8. Indiana Pacers. The Pacers have a promising star in Danny Granger and are balanced offensively, but it will be the first round for the Celtics. Maybe they can catch the Red Sox in April.

western conference

  1. St. Anthony’s Spurs. The Spurs have been the surprise in the league with the fast-paced style. Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker have flourished in this style and Richard Jefferson has once again found his shooting touch. His only concern is that in the playoffs games slow down to half court games and Tim Duncan is slowing down and he can’t be counted on to deliver in the post.
  2. Dallas Mavericks. Tyson Chandler has made the Mavericks tougher in the paint. Even Dirk Nowitzki plays defense at times. They have plenty of depth and have survived a serious injury to Caron Butler, who could return to the playoffs. The Mavericks blend well with all the teams in the West and are a serious threat to reach the finals.
  3. Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers botched their last drive after beating the Celtics and then losing to the horrible Cavaliers. Most of the blame goes to Ron Artest who can still defend like crazy, but offensively he’s out of shape and teams don’t protect him. The good news for the Lakers is that Matt Barnes will be back soon and Artest will be back on the bench in the final quarters.
  4. Oklahoma City. The Thunder haven’t lived up to expectations, but they haven’t disappointed either. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have improved and are fun to watch, but defensively they’re not as good as they were last year. They’ll be a threat again in the playoffs, but they’ll be more dangerous if they get a useful big man before the trade deadline.
  5. Portland Trail Blazers. LeMarcus Aldridge has had a career year that has kept the Trailblazers in the playoff hunt all on his own, but he needs help. He and the Trailblazers desperately need Brandon Roy to get back to health and form, or else they may drop to the dreaded eighth spot.
  6. New Orleans Hornets. The Hornets have Chris Paul, David West and not much else. They could use a healthy and productive Emeka Okafor to stay in playoff contention. And of course some fans to watch them play.
  7. Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets may have the talent to move up and compete in the West, but the Carmelo situation is keeping the entire team on edge. This needs to be resolved soon or the Nuggets, who are volatile to begin with, can crash and burn in the blink of an eye.
  8. Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are young and talented, with Rudy Gay and Mike Conley. They’ve played better since OJ Mayo was suspended. Actually, the Grizzlies being so high has more to do with the fall of the Utah Jazz with the firing of Jerry Sloan, I mean retirement.

Here’s your MLB trend sheet for the first half of September: American League. What is a trend sheet? Basically, I’m going to break down every team in the American League and tell you which teams are hot, hot, cold, or cold. The end of the season is nearing, but there are still plenty of golden baseball betting opportunities out there. Let’s get into the trends perspective and see who is worth betting on.

American League East

New York Yankees: The Yankees are warming up and preparing for a World Series run. They’re playing playoff baseball right now and not many teams have a chance against them.

Boston Red Sox: Disappointment is setting in for the Red Sox. They are just floating on the water at this point. There is always the next season.

Toronto Blue Jays: The Blue Jays continue to play well. They are just above the tread water mark right now.

Baltimore Orioles: The Orioles have been presumed dead. Their season is long over and right now they are having trouble winning a game. They are frozen.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays: The Devil Rays are in the basement once again. They are getting cold.

Chicago White Sox: It’s that time of year and the White Sox have added more fuel to their fire. This team is red hot right now. Thanks to Detroit’s decline, the White Sox are within surprising range. They can smell the playoffs.

Minnesota Twins: The Twins are in deep water right now. Thanks to Detroit’s wavers, they’re still in the hunt. They’re playing like a middle road team after a streak.

Cleveland Indians: The Indians are starting to cool off. Their season is over and the players are starting to go through the motions.

Kansas City Royals: The Royals have started to heat up in the past two weeks. Perhaps this team is determined to finish the season strong.

OK lets start!

One thing is for sure and that is that you want to download free psp movies.

There are a few things you need to know before you start your journey trying to find reliable sources for your PSP downloads. You’ll find that most sites are either trying to scam you out of your money or have pop-ups that will infect your computer with spyware, which could cause you to need to wipe your entire computer and start over.

I don’t mean to alarm you and make you wary of all sites, as there are good PSP download sites out there.

These are your options when trying to find a site to use.

Download Free PSP Movie Option 1

You can just go to Google and do a search for PSP downloads or download a free psp movie and just go through the massive list and risk getting into trouble with spyware. You will also find that more than 80% of the sites out there offer corrupted files and ultra-slow download speeds. When I used to use those sites, I found that most of the games and movies took 2-3 days. A lot of times when I use these sites I’ll go check out my new download and find it’s not working and naturally I was mad because I had my internet running for days to get something that was a waste of time.

Download Free PSP Movie Option 2

You can do the same as above, but only go to sites that don’t pop up and look genuine. Once again you keep playing with fire. There are sites out there that will charge you a membership fee and then, without telling you, charge you more each time you download. These scam sites usually don’t even respond to emails asking about charges.

Free Download Option 3 PSP Movies (Use Recommended Source)

Personally, I would recommend this option as it rules out all risks and guarantees you fast downloads, excellent service and the best collections of games and movies available.

You’ll be happy to know that after going through the whole process of trying to find reliable PSP download sites and having to clean my computer, I decided to start checking all the sites to prevent people from having to go through the same drama.

I will reveal my main recommendations shortly. I personally don’t own these sites, this became a passion after being so angry about my personal experience.

Sites charge $25-$50 One time membership fees you have for life + Unlimited downloads at blazing speeds! I personally could easily justify this as after 1-2 downloads you are already ahead compared to going to your local store. The other good thing about this is that it’s legal!

There is nothing more frustrating than feeling trapped in a dead end relationship. Maybe you do it for the kids, or maybe you stay because you feel comfortable with your partner. Those are typical reasons for most people, but you, well, aren’t “most people.” Your situation is completely different. You are stuck in your dead relationship because you and your partner have herpes.

You may have given it to him, or it may have been given to you: how you hired him doesn’t really matter, you want out of the relationship but are deathly afraid of what the single life will throw at you. Having herpes is hard enough, but having herpes and being in a relationship made you feel safe; now having the virus and the thought of being single is depressing.

First know that you are not alone. You’ve probably heard all the statistics about the number of people with HSV-1 or HSV-2, and you’ve probably heard the rant about how it’s not “so bad,” but for you it is, and exposing yourself to a mean and unforgiving public isn’t. It is a task for which you are prepared at this time.

Here are some things for you to think about:

1. Never bargain your happiness: Your ultimate happiness is not a bargaining chip to exchange for something less valuable. Remember the saying: “When you settle for less, you usually get less than what you settled for.” Or, as one R&B singer sang, “the things we accept will be the things we regret.” Make no mistake about it, if you stay in your current relationship simply because you are afraid to venture outside of your comfort zone, you are making a grave. Your feelings will soon turn into bitterness, resentment, and hatred. Who wants to be in a relationship that is filled with those kinds of negative, life-sucking emotions?

2. Herpes does not define you: At the risk of sounding like a broken record, let us remind you once again that you are NOT alone. There are millions of people with oral and genital herpes, and millions upon thousands of single people – looking for love and happiness just like you. If you are filled with guilt and shame, you will attract people who feed off of and exploit that. If you walk in acceptance, happiness and comfort, people will reciprocate you too.

3. You have options: Despite what others have said, regardless of how herpes always seems to be the butt of the joke (no pun intended), you do have options. There are thousands of couples where one person in the relationship has herpes and the other does not. Not only that, but there are online dating sites dedicated to helping people with HSV find successful relationships.

Staying in a relationship at the risk of compromising your happiness and your complete fulfillment is never a good idea. Don’t be afraid to go out on your own and explore your options.

Many people tend to oversimplify the motivations of American voters. They often appear to be looking at candidates etc. in terms of black and white, when in reality there are often many shades of grey. We often witness that pre-election polls show results that are very different from those that really count. Both before the election and after the results are revealed, many wonder what happened and why, yet they rarely learn any lessons and repeat the same mistakes, over and over again! There are so many reasons why voters vote the way they do, but this article will attempt to briefly consider, examine, review and discuss 6 essential and emotional reasons why people vote the way they do.

1. Fear of minorities: Fragments from many religious books warn us against the dangers and errors of proceeding with xenophobiaHowever, it seems that the fear of minorities and the so-called dangers of foreign influences and foreigners influence voting options. Even though this nation was founded as a Melting Pot, many individuals don’t seem to care! Former President Donald Trump seemed to have figured out how to get us politically out of this, often mouthing off, blaming and complaining, to a variety of minorities and foreigners, for everything he believed would serve his personal interests. / political advantage, and/or self-interest, and articulate statements, such as, Bad men, etc., seemed to have inspired some and brought to light their fears and hatreds.

2. Racial Bias and Anti-Semitism/Hate Crimes: In recent years, we have apparently witnessed more hate crimes than at any time in recent memory! If they feel better about themselves behaving this way, or if their racial bias justifies (in their heads) systemic racism and anti-Semitism, it’s certainly not the American way!

3. Believing in rhetoric and empty promises: Pete Townsend created the famous lyrics, Can’t be fooled again Yet too many Americans continue to vote, relying on the rhetoric, lies, distortions, and often empty promises articulated by certain candidates, instead of taking the time and/or effort to demand viable, relevant solutions. , and sustainable!

4. Oversimplification problems: Too many seek to think and consider the issues, in terms of black and white, instead of considering the true priorities, and what is most relevant, sustainable and possible ramifications in the future! Many voters pay little attention to what is needed and needed, voting based solely on the degree of populist messaging and policies!

5. Blame and complain. instead of solutions: The inherent dangers of accepting and resorting to blaming and complaining, instead of proactively addressing obstacles/challenges, in a timely manner, and perceiving and conceiving the true and best way forward, jeopardizes our nation’s future, etc! .!

6. Looking for the path of least resistance, instead of the best path, forward: Too many people seek the path of least resistance and enjoy staying within the self-imposed restrictions of their personal comfort zone, accepting the path of least resistance, rather than following the better path, go ahead!

Unfortunately, many vote, based on emotional factors, instead of the common good! Until/unless we start, prioritizing, seeking a meeting of minds, for the common good, and proceeding with an open mind, willing to compromise, in a more pragmatic way, our way of life, is at – risk!
