When creating your own movies or just making videos for YouTube or a Facebook post, you will certainly need to add some background music. Be careful what music you choose: YouTube and Facebook can shut down your video for copyright infringement.

This happened to me when I created a memorial video that was posted on Facebook. Somehow they ‘knew’ that the music I was using was copyrighted. They did not allow the post to stay up. I solved the problem by searching for royalty free music on the web. I was able to use this music simply by adding a credit to the end of the video. Like everything else, it was a learning curve to find this ‘public domain’ music and then search through the tons of junk out there.

It’s hard to find music for which you don’t have to pay royalties. Many sites offer that type of music, the problem is that they offer quantity over quality. Most of the sites are difficult to navigate and the music is cheesy. Worst of all, some charge an upfront fee to download their songs. You can find quality music for free, but since every film project is unique, so is the music. Finding music that matches your vision can be time consuming.

Royalty-free music can take a lot of hassle out of creating your videos. You may not get a ping right away, but chances are if you’re using copyrighted material someone will find out and insist that you ‘cease and desist’. For the average Joe, a Creative Commons license is perfect for getting music without paying a license fee.

For corporations and businesses that want license protection, a standard license, available for as little as $25, allows you to use a song for things like music on hold, radio spots, or corporate introductions where you don’t want or can’t give proper credit in writing. Why hire someone to write the music or pay a royalty if your budget won’t allow it?

I highly recommend looking for a website that is set up in multiple categories to help you quickly navigate to the music you want. Choose the genre of music, such as hard rock, country, or orchestral. From there, it’s much easier to try and download songs or just read the short description under each song to get a quick “feel” for what might work for you. Some sites even provide a photo for a “visual representation” of each song.

Another good feature to look for is songs that have both a vocal and a non-vocal version. One of the advantages of having both versions of a song is that you can combine them throughout the movie and use them as a recurring theme without repeating the exact same thing over and over again and sounding monotonous.

For those who wish to have a completely original soundtrack, many sites offer music services such as score composition and soundtrack editing to make your movie unique.

One important thing to remember when looking for your music: be specific. “alternative copyright-free music” will give better results than just “copyright-free music”.

Western dragons are generally considered to be evil, fire-breathing beasts. Their reputation as evil may have been influenced by their demonization of the Church and their ability to spit fire.

As promised, his eight easy ways to remember the Western Dragon:

1. Both Chinese dragons and Western dragons usually live in water, especially in oceans and rivers. Apep and Tiamat are two examples of water dwellers. Some are also believed to spew water, such as the French dragon Gargouille and the Devil Dragon from the Book of Revelations.

2. There is a theory that dragons evolved fire-breathing abilities due to a large bladder or internal sac filled with methane. The Dragon had a metal-type “flint” in its throat, and when it belched in self-defense it was able to ignite methane and “breath fire”.

3. Dragons have the ability to fly because their wings are huge and capable of soaring. Their frames are not made of solid bone, but are hollow and cartilaginous; light, like plastic.

4. Like Eastern or Chinese dragons, Western dragons also have a reputation for being wise. Ancient Greek stories tell us that fortune tellers learned from dragons.

5. The common theme of a western dragon’s diet is animals such as sheep and goats, and also young maidens (virgins). Perseus and Andromeda include this in their Greek mythologies, and Hercules saved a maiden from a dragon. Saint George (of Europe) also speaks of sacrifices of maidens from Europe.

6. Dragons are great guardians. Ladon guarded the golden apples in the Hesperides, and the Dragon of Tiamat guarded the sacred tablets. It was a dragon that guarded Jason’s Golden Fleece, and the Golden Apples of the Hesperides were guarded by Ladon. So your dragon figures perched on a castle or your dragon holding a ball are probably western dragons.

7. Dragons were not only considered guardians, but true greedy hoarders. There are mythical stories of greedy men who turned into western dragons.

8. In appearance, Western dragons have a long neck and tail, horned heads, scale-like body armor, forked tongues, and varied colors. Their feet have claws.

The following are various categories of Western Dragon:

Amphithere:

Dragons with feathers, or feathers. Examples include the Egyptian dragon, Buto, and the South American dragon, Quetzlcoatl.

Duck:

An old English term for a dragon. A fire-breathing dragon was called a fire dragon.

wurm:

A snake has four legs, two wings.

Linden Worm:

A dragon with two legs and no wings.

Wyrm:

a dragon that has no legs or wings, like a snake. As an aside, this is the French name for a Guivre.

Wyvern:

It represents pestilence and war. It has two wings and two legs. Common dragons will have two wings and four legs.

There are many great dragon stories; Are dragons real? The funny thing is that almost anyone can tell what they think a dragon is, even if it only exists in mythology. But many people can’t describe mitochondria… and we all have them!

We have all seen mobile washing units driving around our town, they are usually trucks, vans or trailers with a water tank and a pressure washer unit on board. They market their services with flyers and business cards, however most of their business comes from weekly repeats and referrals. Some cities have hundreds of these units going around town cleaning things up. You may think it’s a big business, but like any business, there is a competitive component to the industry, which is not so obvious at first glance.

A typical competitor car wash is a one-man operation with no room in their truck, van, or trailer for a hot water pressure washer; Steam pressure washer/cleaner. Many of the smaller crews have simply put a Home Depot pressure washer on their truck or trailer and attached a plastic water tank to it. Chances are they couldn’t even figure out what to do with the hot water pressure washer even if they had one. The fact is, if the retailer had a steam pressure washer/cleaner, he wouldn’t go out of business every year when it rains. In many parts of the US and even the world, the mobile car wash has to deal with inclement weather that prevents working in low temperatures when the water turns to ice and it’s hard to sell a car wash when it rains. outside. Since car washing can be a seasonal business, many mobile car washes resort to cleaning other things with their units when it rains.

These mobile car washes will diversify efforts to wash things like: Concrete, Heavy Equipment, Auto Interiors, Truck Fleets, Signs, Holiday Window Paint Removal, Graffiti and/or Paint Prep. This is when those with hot water pressure washers have an advantage and can use this to stay strong even in winter. It’s also one of the reasons why there are so many small mobile car wash and auto detailing businesses that don’t stay in business that long. If you are considering a business of this nature, you should think about seasonality and develop a good strategy. Think about it.

Since broccoli is on sale this week, I thought I’d share my best broccoli salad recipe that I take to many, many family functions. I get requests for it all the time. Such as: Make sure you bring that broccoli salad to the Father’s Day picnic. However, those attending the show ask me for the recipe for the broccoli salad. Therefore, I can wholeheartedly recommend it and am glad to share it with you.

Gretchen’s Broccoli Salad

1 pound bacon, fried crisp and drained

3 bunches of broccoli, finely chopped

1/2 cup raisins or crasins

1/2 cup sunflower seeds (or you can use pumpkin seeds or sesame seeds)

1 medium red onion

1/2 cup Hellman’s mayonnaise

1/4 cup of unrefined sugar

1/4 cup Bragg’s apple cider vinegar

Mix the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar and reserve. Let them mix for 20 to 30 minutes.

Mix broccoli, grapes, sunflower seeds, and onion. Then pour the above mixture over it and then top with the fried bacon.

Mix everything together and refrigerate overnight. In fact, you can do it the same day as long as you have at least 5 hours to marinate the flavors. This is not a low calorie or low cholesterol dish. But it is very filling and satisfying. It will keep you away from the dessert table because you will be so satisfied.

If you like, you can substitute 1/4 cup of raw sugar for the agave nectar. Or you could use a powdered sugar substitute like splenda or stevia. I use the rule of thumb: 3 packs and then test… to see where I like it. Otherwise, you can exaggerate the sweet taste with an artificial substitution. Some people feel that it changes the recipe and can tell the difference, but not me. But maybe I’m used to it too.

Another way to cut calories in this recipe is to use turkey bacon instead of real bacon. It has about half the calories. But honestly, I don’t care about the taste. You just have to pick and choose your battles, so to speak. I would rather cut the amount of bacon in half, to half a pound (8 ounces) of regular bacon and get the real flavor.

You can also use Hellman’s Light Mayonnaise in place of regular mayonnaise. Again, cut the calories in half. You’ll have to be careful with a watery consistency if you choose to do that. So be careful and stir often if using a light version of mayonnaise.

Enjoy.

I want to share my best broccoli salad recipe that I take to many, many family functions. I get requests for it all the time.

Selling ice melts continues to be big business each winter, and with these sales come many questions. In this article, a small business that sells ice melts over the Internet answers the top 20 questions ice melt buyers ask.

1) Why should I use melted ice? ANS: Security is the main reason. Other reasons include preventing damage from heavy ice buildup and simply the convenience of keeping traffic areas clean.

2) Why does melted ice contain chemicals other than salt? ANS: Added chemicals prevent ice from melting and set the minimum temperature at which the product works effectively.

3) What ice melter should I use? ANS: The customer is the best person to make that decision based on their unique needs. Cost, environmental friendliness, weather pattern, and the area where the ice melt will be applied all play a role in the decision.

4) What are my options for melting ice? ANS: You have two options; Urea or Salt (contains chloride). Urea is used in lawn fertilizers, but as ice melt it is sold in much higher concentrations, so don’t buy the “it won’t burn your lawn” comment. The salt can be sodium chloride (rock salt is 95-98.5% pure), potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and/or calcium chloride. Different brands of ice melt often mix these salts in proprietary blends along with added chemicals.

5) What is the least expensive ice melt? ANS: Rock Salt is less expensive, but many companies offer several “cheap mixes” that will work well in your driveway and be more environmentally friendly.

6) Why is the minimum effective temperature (MET) of ice melting important? ANS: If you live in a climate where freezing temperatures rarely occur, you may be wasting money buying an ice melt that works down to -25 degrees F.

7) What are the melting “METs”? ANS: Potassium Chloride +25F, Urea +20F, Rock Salt +10F, Magnesium Chloride -22F and Calcium Chloride at -25F. However, with the additional chemicals, many manufacturers are able to vary these temperatures slightly for their proprietary blends.

8) Is a fast acting ice melter always better? ANS: No. In areas where slip and falls are a greater concern, a fast-acting product may be your best option. These products often require more frequent application, which can increase cost and risk of damage.

9) Which ice melters are safe? ANS: All products on the market are generally safe when used as directed. Both urea and salt will burn grass and can irritate the bottom of your pet’s paws. You should store melted ice in a sealed area out of the reach of pets and children.

10) Does melted ice contain any kind of poison? ANS: No. However, if ingested by a person or animal, it is recommended that you contact your doctor (or vet).

11) Which ice melts are better for the environment? ANS: Mixes with less chloride are better for the environment but will be more expensive, especially if you want them to work in sub-zero temperatures.

12) What other safety and property damage concerns should I be aware of when using ice melts? ANS: Exceeding recommended use and/or heavy traffic moving melted ice to unintended areas can damage concrete, carpet, floors, wood decks, and vegetation.

13) What can I do to protect vegetation from snowmelt applications? ANS: Follow package directions and use the green (more expensive) products where vegetation is a concern.

14) What can I do to protect carpets/wood floors from melting ice traffic? ANS: Vacuum and/or damp sponge any residue left on your carpet/wood floor. Use rubber mats in high-traffic areas during bad weather.

15) What can I do to protect my wooden decking? ANS: Salts from ice melt can penetrate the pores of the wood and cause early degradation as it recrystallizes. Therefore, it is not the best product for a wooden deck. Sand and/or matting are better solutions. Wood sealers offer some protection.

16) What can I do to protect my concrete surfaces from ice melt damage? ANS: The use of ice melt will increase the number of freeze-thaw cycles, increasing the risk of concrete embedment on the surface. Never use melted ice on concrete that is less than one year old. Clean up the slush as soon as possible. Using concrete sealers will also help.

17) Can I use melted ice on my roof? ANS: Although ice melt is an option for roofs, it is often not the best option. Accumulated ice on roofs is caused by excessive heat loss. Correcting heat loss or installing heating elements to prevent ice buildup is a better preventative measure. Consult a professional roofer for guidance when removing ice from a roof.

18) Can I use melted ice on the surface of my brick? ANS: Ice melters are not recommended on these surfaces.

19) Can I use the leftover melted ice for other purposes, such as a water softener? RESP: This is not recommended. The ice melt will carry over for next year’s use, is less suitable for other purposes and will require more brine tank cleaning in the softeners.

20) How can I make my purchase of melted ice better? ANS: People who need less than 100 bags (50 pounds each) per year should consider their local hardware or grocery store. When usage is higher, consider using the internet to research available ice melting products for your needs.

We spend a lot of our hard earned money buying a smartphone. Therefore, the smart thing to do would be to consider the below-mentioned factors to make the right decision instead of crying over split milk later.

construction

The appearance and durability of a phone depend on the material it is made of. Most smartphones are made of metal or plastic, and very few are made of glass. If you drop your phone too often, you should avoid the glass option to be in the safe zone.

Show

For most of us, a large screen with high resolution is very fascinating. It’s true that big screens cook with class, but generally, the more luxurious the phone, the bigger the screen. So you have to decide what kind of smartphone user you are.

If you use your phone for texting, calling, and surfing the web, you’d probably benefit from a display that ranges from 5 to 5.5 inches of HD or Full HD resolution. If you stream videos, play high-resolution games, or edit photos and videos, you need a 5.5- to 6-inch HD or QHD resolution display.

Screens that are too large make the phone bulky and unwieldy with one hand. Nowadays, AMOLED screens attract more eyes than LCD screens and some even support HDR for a better viewing experience.

However, if you want to secure these features, your budget needs to be flexible.

Camera

How many megapixels does the camera have? This is the most frequent question to the seller when buying a mobile. The fact is that the quality of the image does not depend only on megapixels.

For outstanding images, the other important features to look for in a camera are aperture, autofocus, speed, ISO levels, pixel size, etc.

If you’re a photography fanatic buying a phone just for the camera, then look for a phone that’s 12-16 MP under f/2.0 or even less for quick shots in low light as well. Whereas, if you are a selfie person, you can do it even with 8-12MP camera with f/2.0 to f/2.2 aperture.

Battery

Yes, battery is of the utmost importance to many, especially game lovers and buyers. The other specifications of the phone, such as the processor, operating system, screen resolution, and others, determine the battery life. If you want a long battery life, a phone with 3000 mAh will be a reliable option.

Today, there are even options to recharge your smartphone quickly with wireless charging. Allows you to quickly charge your phone in the shortest possible time. If you plan to buy an Android phone and need fast charging feature, please look for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 or its other earlier version.

Processor

The performance of a phone depends on its processor. But the processing power of the phone depends on the user interface, operating system and others. Among Android phones, Snapdragon 600 and Snapdragon 835 processors are leading. If you are a gamer, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 or Snapdragon 820/821 can make multitasking smooth for you.

Memory

Both RAM and internal memory count for a better user experience. More than half of your smartphone’s memory is consumed by the apps you install while setting up your new phone. Then come the videos, photos, music, etc. So, select a phone with at least 2 GB of RAM and at least 16 GB of internal memory that has a large expandable memory capacity so that you can insert a microSD card for maximum data storage.

A close look at the smartphone you have decided to purchase with reference to the factors discussed above, along with knowledge of user reviews will lead you to an intelligent decision. Always ask questions, gather information, and trust word of mouth before spending a large amount of your money.

From Motown to Woodstock, the 1960s proved to be a pendulum of wide-ranging shifts in musical taste and talent.

As the 1950s ushered in the wide variety of genres on offer to a diversifying nation, 1960s America picked up the torch and carried on.

Hot off the press in 1960 was the formation of the Motown Record Corporation. This would be the vessel that would launch the careers of numerous soul artists. Legendary talents like Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson got their start with Motown.

Folk rock is another genre that would be born from the 1960s. Folk rock realized its great rise and fall in the decade. Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Peter, Paul & Mary, and The Grateful Dead are just a few of the folk rock singer-songwriters to emerge from this era. The sound was a “more vocals, less effects” style of music that incorporated narrative lyrics with rock overtones. Most popular in the mid-1960s and declining in popularity in the early to mid-1970s, many of the artists associated with this type of music were part of the ‘make love not war’ movement.

In 1964, the United States would experience the British Invasion when a group of four ‘moptops’ from Liverpool, England, took the US by storm. Before long, the Beatles were performing to fill crowds of screaming teenage women. I want to hold your hand it hit number one in the United States in February 1964. The group broke up in 1970 and began successful solo careers. The Fab Four ventured into uncharted musical territory with each new album, implementing various genres into their unique style of sound. They had a huge impact on modern music and were also cultural innovators.

As drug use skyrocketed in the 1960s, new offshoots of rock & roll music began to appear on the scene. Acid and psychedelic rock grew out of a drug culture that would eventually lead to the heavy metal genre that would become so prominent in the next decade. The counterculture had begun and from that counterculture the greatest musical phenomena of the decade would occur.

Woodstockit was basically a three-day music festival that took place in August 1969. It was said to be a gathering celebrating the concept of love, peace, and tranquility. It was actually an LSD festival that drew more than 400,000 hippies to a farm in upstate New York. Various musical genres were represented at the event, including; folk rock, acid rock and even some Motown were included in the lineup. Amidst the impressive lineup of artists at the concert were: Jefferson Airplane, The Who, Janis Joplin, Arlo Guthrie, Sly & the Family Stone and Creedence Clearwater Rival. Woodstock it is one of the seminal events that changed the face of rock and roll and would, in part, be the catalyst for ushering in the heavy metal sound of the 1970s.

Last but not least would be the bubblegum pop rock style that grew in popularity in the late 1960s. Bands like Tommy James and the Shondells, The Lemon Pipers and Herman’s Hermits were all on the charts. Teenyboppers from all over the country sang the lyrics to hits like, Hanky Panky, green tambourine, andDelicious, Delicious, Delicious.

Most of the emphasis had shifted to the younger generation coming out of the 1950s, where this trend had begun to take effect. Teenagers tuned in to the radio, bought records, and attended concerts more than any other age group, so they became the mainstream that record companies catered to.

Although the older generation (and I use that term loosely to include everyone else outside of the teens and 20s age group) still found “their” music dominating the small screen with the popularity of variety shows. Greats like Dean Martin, Andy Williams, Dinah Shore and Frank Sinatra were still riding high among the older crowd.

The 1960s turned out to be a cultural revolution, and it was no more evident than in the styles of music that emerged from this era. Sex, drugs and rock & roll replaced the now more seemingly innocent James Dean-like rebellion of the 1950s.

A violent and turbulent time in American history, but a time of self-expression and musical freedom gave way to a more accommodating philosophy that would ensue over the next decade. American music was now very global, and artists from many other countries came to the United States to donate their talents to a nation that was accepting of all styles of music. It really was the dawn of the ‘Age of Aquarius’.

Tarot reading has always had a mystical aura. But there is a strange connection and a mind game that only the subconscious understands. Nowadays, these apps are becoming huge hits on Google Play Store and Apple Store. But how many insights do these free tarot readings bring to users? Let’s dig into the nitty-gritty of this.

To make such apps or software, a programmer has to encode the experience and knowledge of a tarot reader with whom he reads a person’s faith into a computer program. If this is possible, these apps would save many innocent people from the clutches of fake and fraudulent tarot readers. These free readings could help hundreds and thousands of people who have problems in life and are looking for a solution. But is it possible for a tarot reader to communicate the knowledge base and analysis method used in this ancient divination method to an Android or iOS programmer to create a tarot reading app? Well, there is a certain amount of interpretation and human experience that goes into an accurate tarot reading.

Two main methods are used in tarot reading around the world, considering the methods of analysis and interpretation. The basic difference between these two methods is that the first one will have fixed meanings for each card and in the second method the tarot reader makes assumptions and interpretations of the card chosen by a client. The second method depends a lot on the divinatory ability of a tarot reader. But if you have to make an app of this type, it would be based on the first method, since the meaning of each card is fixed. We can also differentiate tarot reading based on the questions asked by the tarot reader. The most accurate method would be the first, because here is some kind of divine communication that occurs between the tarot reader and the cosmos to find a solution to the problem a client is facing.

Websites and portals that are run by expert tarot readers or employ such good resources can use these psychic reading apps to show the expertise they have. These free tarot readings will obviously attract prospects to try a more personalized session with the tarot readers that are available online. Some of these apps provide more than just free readings, they also give users the option to consult expert psychic readers online, which is primarily a paid consultation service. It’s great to see how these ancient divination methods adapt to the changing modern times. But businesses and websites need to understand the fact that they can only sustain their success if they offer something of value. Tarot reading is great old occultism, it should not be maligned by implementing fake apps that offer free readings without any logic.
