While Android and iOS mobile apps are equally powerful in making a business globally visible to the audience, it is an iOS that can bring you more benefits, if you think in the long term. According to Statista reports, the world has more apps from Android users (nearly 2.5 million) than iOS apps (which is about 2 million). So eventually, for students and sellers, Apple’s app store is second only to Google’s Play Store in terms of popularity. For businesses that want to gain a wide user base, an Android app is a perfect option. But, if you want your app to not only find the right users but also deliver a quality experience, then an iOS app is what you need. Here we have further discussed for you various factors to help you better understand why investing in an iOS app is better for your business.

The brand name says it all.

A prominent reason for putting an iOS app at the forefront of your business is its unique ‘brand identity’. For years, Apple has upheld a legacy of delivering high-quality phones and tablets. As the clear winner in the market with high brand reputation, Apple devices capture the attention of the elite segments of the population.

Smooth UX/UI of iOS devices

Without a doubt, Apple masters the design and development of the most flawless user experience for each device. Everything from the graphical interface, screen layout, animation standards to navigation is designed with user expectations in mind. This makes all versions of iPhone and iPad highly performance driven and therefore an iOS app can offer a much better customer experience.

Help you compete better

An iOS app will better help you stand out from the competition. From helping you connect with your customers to increasing your brand reputation, it makes your business unique from competitors. Other than that, every iOS device comes with excellent quality standard and innovative features that will help the app to deliver its services to the users in an extraordinary way.

The number of iPhone users is growing day by day

Although the statistics show a higher number of Android devices than iOS, the data for the number of iOS users reflects an increasing trend. This means that your iOS app will see its user base grow in the long run.

Enhanced level of security

There is no doubt about the level of security offered by Apple devices. It offers first-rate security and data privacy guarantee. This is considered the best aspect of using iOS. So for apps looking to collect customer information, support payment facilities, and facilitate data transfer, iOS is the right platform. ‘

No matter how successful Android is in acquiring users around the world, iOS has its distinct user bases and that will set your app apart from the rest if it is designed for iOS. Specified as the best mobile platform, it will help your business gain a strong digital presence and increase revenue by meeting the expectations of all users in the right way.

Xbox 360 3 Blinking Red Lights – How to Easily Fix Xbox 360 3 Blinking Red Lights

There is no doubt that the Xbox 360 is one of the best game consoles available for gamers. But all great things have a weakness. For the Xbox 360, 3 flashing red lights might be the worst thing you’ve ever seen.

In this article I am going to explain why nearly 10% of all Xboxes made see this common problem and some methods available to fix it.

The why

To understand this problem, you must understand that the Xbox 360 is built like a computer. It has the same parts. Imagine that your controller is the keyboard and the TV is your monitor.

Just like a computer, the Xbox 360 needs proper ventilation or it will overheat. Due to Microsoft’s flawed design, the system is not well ventilated and this excess heat causes components inside the console to stop working.

Flashing red lights are a code that lets the user know there is a hardware malfunction. Each light means something different. 3 lights means there is a problem with the graphics card.

The solution

There are a couple of different ways to fix flashing red lights on your Xbox 360 3.

Method 1

You can send your console to Microsoft for repair. They even started offering an extended warranty to many customers because this problem was so common. But there are 3 problems with your Microsoft 360 shipment.

1. They don’t always fix the problem. Microsoft has been known to return refurbished models to you.

2. If not under warranty, you can pay more than $100 plus shipping to have the system fixed.

3. You will be without the console for at least a month and probably more. Sometimes up to 6 weeks!

Method 2

Maybe you have an extra 100 bucks waiting to be spent on fixing your system, which shouldn’t have been broken in the first place.

If you’re like me, then you don’t.

But don’t despair! There is another method to fix Xbox 360 3 flashing red lights. This method involves fixing it yourself.

That’s how it is! You can fix it yourself. Even if you don’t have technical skills, fixing your console is easier than you think.

How? There are many game enthusiasts who have done the hard work for you and now offer online guides to fix your Xbox 360 3 blinking red lights. These guides sell for a fraction of what Microsoft charges and require home tools (such as a knife and a screwdriver) to repair the system.

They also have step-by-step videos, images, and online support.

I know being without your Xbox sucks, and the thought of paying Microsoft over $100 sucks even worse. But don’t let that stop you. Do as I did and invest in one of these guides to fix Xbox 360 3 flashing red lights yourself.

You’ll save money and learn a valuable skill.

As a web designer/developer, search engine optimization specialist, and website manager and supervisor for my clients, I’ve tracked many of the websites I’ve created with Google Analytics, a hugely useful tool for monitoring sources, interests, and visitor preferences. Each day, after checking my email, I spend a generous part of my morning looking at their reports that include how many visitors viewed each website, how they were referred, what keywords they used, what pages they visited, how long they spent on each page, and what service provider use, among other things. I check the last item because it often specifies the name of a company, university, government agency, or other specific source rather than a giant IT provider like Verizon or Comcast. Often this is critical information about who visits our sites.

Recently, and I’ll admit I was late in addressing this topic, I’ve been intrigued by the page they “landed” on. The reason for my interest has to do with a concern about its ability to receive Flash, currently a contentious issue due to Apple Computer’s refusal to include this technology in some of its latest and most popular products, including the iPhone, the iPod and iPad. .

As a lifelong Mac user and lover, I generally admire and support anything and everything Apple, based on positive first-hand experience with its great products and stock performance. I have benefited greatly from both. However, having purchased Adobe’s Creative Suite software several years ago and having put in the painstaking effort to learn Flash, I have a vested interest in continuing to use those sophisticated files on many of my major websites, especially as my clients have paid for their creation and add glamor and pizzazz to any page they appear on.

But sadly, this recent development appears to be little more than a nasty competitive rivalry between two outstanding tech companies. Whether it’s gluttony for market dominance or a lack of commitment or cooperation under the guise of a better user experience, it has impacted everyone who has a website that uses Flash in their presentations. In researching what the consensus of opinion is on this subject, I read the account of a professional woman who was entertaining business guests in Britain. One of the guests was proudly showing off her new iPad and asked for the hostess’s URL so they could admire her website together in this new setting. What happened next is what triggered my concern. When he got to her website, all they saw were big black holes because her website relied heavily on Flash. Her shame was mortifying.

Realizing that the home page of my own company’s website is made up of three fairly large Flash files along with some necessary HTML text, not to mention that some of my clients’ recently displayed home pages also feature large Flash movies To inspire, dazzle, and impress, I focused on my recent curiosity about some of the Google Analytics reports I’d seen showing 0:00 time spent on landing page. In the case of my own website, the landing page is almost always the home page. It occurred to me that if visitors came to see nothing but black, who could blame them for immediately defecting? Could those visitors be using the latest Apple products? Although Google Analytics does not specify the brand or type of computer or device used, it does indicate the operating system and browser, which in this case would be OS X and Safari.

Changing what happened in the past is a fruitless quest, so my focus now is on monitoring future website visits. Having used Adobe’s Dreamweaver software to create my Flash files, I was aware of and had already used behavioral monitoring that places a sensor on the page to identify whether a visitor has the Flash software necessary to view a Flash movie. Otherwise, the visitor is automatically redirected to an alternative page created specifically without Flash to accommodate this somewhat unusual situation. But as with everything we find these days, the sensor doesn’t work with all browsers (in this case, the old culprit in waiting: Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, which historically, in my experience, has always included pervasive obstacles to ease of use). of use), so the web designer is left with a dilemma. To do? While the intuitive sensor gives you the option to choose to redirect the visitor to a new page or just allow them to stay on the original Flash page if it can’t be detected, it doesn’t solve the problem. Everyone knows that Windows and Internet Explorer have been the predominant platform for most Internet use, despite Apple’s rise in popularity in recent years. But it looks like Google’s new Chrome browser has just surpassed that honor. That means it probably makes sense to allow those visitors to stay on the original Flash page, since they will most likely have the Flash reader. After all, it was the Mac user who caused this dilemma, and only certain Macs. And supposedly the sensor could detect the presence of Flash in a Mac OS. To confirm this assumption, I did some more research and found that Flash 10.1 from Adobe is officially tied to WP7. This new update will be released for all WP7 devices; this means that the entirety of the Internet will be available in the browser on Microsoft’s latest mobile platform. Google’s Android operating system was the first to receive support for Flash 10.1 in version 2.2 Froyo of the open source mobile platform. According to Adobe, the Flash player will also be adapted to other operating systems, except for Apple.

Next hurdle, how do you replicate the sophistication of Flash on an alternative page without Flash? After some research through a variety of Google searches, I learned that Apple is promoting an open source coding language called html5 for that problem. For me, that was not an option as I recently did not update my operating system beyond Mac OS X 10.4.11 to the required level of advancement, 10.5.8. The other possible solution was to use javascript in some kind of slideshow. There is also another solution, but it is not very effective if you have large original Flash files. If you have a small subtle effect created in Flash, you can choose to convert that file into an animated gif file which may be larger than the original Flash file, but may still suffice as a replacement in this case.

While these suggestions may be an acceptable stopgap strategy, I believe this conflict of interest is the beginning of a changing of the guard on the Internet, as I see more and more websites removing Flash from their archives and converting to using Flash. html5 or javascript instead. Similarly, RedmondPie.com reports that an entrepreneurial startup is seizing this as a business opportunity with the launch of a new product to get Flash on iPhone: “…now you can get a very alpha version of Flash (aka Flash) to run right on your iPhone 4″. How many more innovators will soon follow this trend? I’ve already seen that the mobile phone market has quickly jumped into the fray with blatant marketing messages about Flash’s warm reception by their customers. Apple, meanwhile, has clarified its “hostile” stance by saying that its decision to restrict the inclusion of Adobe Flash Readers on its newer machines that can still receive Flash was made out of concern that users receive the latest version of that software that you can get. for free directly from Adobe. Okay, that makes sense. But where is Apple going to draw the line? What’s the plan for Adobe PDF technology? Will they ban it too?

Although I was hoping to try and squeeze another year out of my current operating system and dependent software, I think I’ve run into a major reason why I need to upgrade soon, probably before the end of the fiscal year to get the benefit of these necessary ones. business expenses. Unfortunately for me, that will mean a potentially expensive or cumbersome conversion to OS X 10.6.5, along with the need to reinstall Parallels to run Windows simultaneously, allowing me to check how each browser and operating system renders my website creations. And as if that wasn’t enough, doing such an upgrade will truly be the proverbial “opening a can of worms” because now I’ll have to upgrade all my other creative software, the least of which will include Quark 8.0 (which, by the way, , now offers Flash creativity, a feature I’ve been turning down so far), Adobe CS5 Photoshop, Adobe CS5 Acrobat Professional, Adobe CS5 Illustrator, and Adobe CS5 Fireworks. Most missing from that list is my beloved Adobe CS5 Dreamweaver. Without being able to predict the future, who will prevail in the tech wars over open source vs. proprietary encryption, or will we all eventually switch to smaller devices to access the Internet, the question remains: Flash or not Flash?

As the Gamecube ages, passed from generation to generation to younger gamers, and discs continue to wear out, there is a growing market for backing up and burning Gamecube games. People want to protect their investment and ensure that their beloved classics can be played for years to come. Gamecube game recording is quite similar to game recording for any other system, albeit with some unique quirks. Well, we will give you the information you will need to record Gamecube games successfully in this article.

First, let’s look at the tools you’ll need to successfully record Gamecube gameplay. Naturally, you’ll need the image file for the game you want to burn, and we’ll leave it up to you to find or create an image file for the game you want to burn. Next, you’ll need a good DVD burner. Gamecube games are notoriously picky about certain recorders, but they work fine with Pioneer and NEC recorders. If you find that your recordings just don’t work, or the quality is poor, you may want to consider purchasing a more compatible recorder.

Unlike most consoles, movies, etc., the Gamecube doesn’t use standard DVDs, but Mini DVDs, and these aren’t always easy to find due to being much less in demand. Your best bet for finding blank Mini DVDs may be an online store, although major chains like Office Depot should carry some as well.

Finally, you will need a good game recording software program. There are free programs available as well as paid software like Game Copy Wizard. We generally recommend the paid software as its compatibility and quality is much higher than any of the free software available when trying to record Gamecube games. In the event that your game image file is called .gcm, you can simply rename the file to .iso. All of your files must be .iso files before attempting to burn them with any image burning software.

With all the tools in place, you should be able to go ahead and record your games, making sure to follow the instructions for your particular image recording program. When recording, it is always advisable to record at a slower speed, and you should also close any unnecessary programs from running, as any increase in computer activity during recording could negatively affect the quality of the recording. It’s a good idea to disconnect your internet connection completely while recording.

Of course, there is one final element that needs to be considered, and the main problem encountered when attempting to play recorded games, and that is the fact that video game consoles, including the Gamecube, will never play backup discs without some form of modification. (which usually means having to blow your warranty). Yes, as silly as it sounds on the surface, you are legally allowed to backup your games, but those backups are almost useless as they cannot be played on any console without modifying it, which makes your copies security are almost useless unless additional measures are taken.

For the Gamecube, you have two main methods at your disposal, you can completely modify the console, which voids your warranty, or you can software modify it, which involves buying the Max Drive Pro memory card and downloading custom software that will do it. let you run backup games while inserted into Gamecube.

We hope this article has helped you learn how to record Gamecube gameplay. You should be well on your way to burning perfect copies of the greatest Gamecube games ever made. Do not accept that your old and tired games have reached the end of their time with you. Record new copies of them and continue to enjoy them for years to come.

Patients and healthcare providers around the world have come to realize that relying solely on hospital systems will no longer be a viable option. Industry experts believe that continued advances in home health care devices and services will help ease the current pressure on the global health care system.

Technology has proven extremely critical to home health care. Current and future advances in home health care technologies are not only designed for effective disease management, but also encourage and enable people to live independently.

Technological interventions were complex and expensive in the past. However, the growing need and demand for convenient and effective remote patient monitoring, the development of new and innovative technologies, and the availability of sufficient funds have led to increased accessibility to low-cost technologies and devices.

New, affordable home devices aren’t just popular with geriatricians looking to age in place. The customer base has rapidly expanded to include new patient groups such as those with chronic illnesses, children and diabetics. This will surely pave the way for a better future for both patients and healthcare providers.

Increasing use of biosensors to monitor geriatric health

When it comes to home health care for the elderly, there are a number of innovative technologies and devices that have been seamlessly integrated into the senior or assisted living industry, or what is more widely known as geriatric care services. Speaking from a strictly medical perspective, recent technologies for monitoring the health of the elderly include blood pressure monitoring devices, oxygen therapy devices, patient temperature monitoring devices, and cardiac monitoring and heart rate monitoring devices ( CRM).

An NBC News article sheds light on the growing adoption of sensor technology in the US, especially for seniors. Enabling improved estimation of the metabolic status of a patient or individual in a remote location, biosensors enable constant monitoring of those older people who suffer from a number of different ailments but choose to live independently, outside of hospitals and nursing homes. . The NBC article discusses the use of such sophisticated sensors to track an elderly couple’s walking speed, heart rate, and even sleep patterns. This unobtrusive technology also sends alerts in case of emergencies, allowing timely intervention by family members or caregivers. Like several medical device companies, research organizations, and medical universities, ElderTech, Missouri, has been studying the importance of environmentally integrated home sensor networks and their relevance to sensing changes in adult health. greater.

Development of wearable digital devices for remote monitoring of cardiac conditions

As the medical device industry undergoes a tectonic shift with the advent of telemedicine, the cardiology field has also felt the resulting benefits. The increasing incidence of cardiovascular disorders and the subsequent need for constant monitoring of outpatients have resulted in a demand for cardiac monitoring and cardiac rhythm monitoring (CRM). Home health care is one of the main end users of these devices, with ever-increasing demand for ECG and cardiac monitors, Holter monitors, event monitors, and ILRs (implantable loop recorders).

Interviewing the founders of Eko Devices, The New York Times talks about the growing competition in the telemedicine business. Eko is one of the many cardiovascular care companies that have been capitalizing on the home health care industry.

In a recent development, the company developed a digital stethoscope specifically for heart patients at home. This innovative palm-sized device, called the DUO, has the potential to disrupt the way cardiac patients are monitored. By combining an electrocardiogram or EKG and an electronic stethoscope in a single device, DUO provides unprecedented insight into cardiac functions. This includes rapid monitoring and review of heart rhythms and sounds to enable advanced bedside analysis and, if necessary, remote care.

Need for constant glucose monitoring drives demand for diabetes devices

With medical devices becoming more interconnected thanks to the increasing penetration of the Internet, the growing use of smartphones and a host of other medical devices, and the expansion of hospital networks, detecting and managing diabetes at home has become not only convenient but also effective. Today, there is a wide range of diabetes devices available that promise fast and accurate results. The user-friendly designs of most devices and the increased levels of awareness among the diabetic population around the world have resulted in a fairly massive market for self-monitoring devices for use in home settings.

A recent research article sponsored and reviewed by Avantes BV, a leading innovator in the development and application of miniature spectrometers, focuses on the need for non-invasive diabetes diagnosis and monitoring. To detect and treat diabetes before it spirals out of control, consistent glucose control and maintenance is crucial, and for a long time, existing diagnostic standards and therapies were immensely invasive. In addition, the management of this disease outside the hospital setting was extremely difficult. However, advanced medical screening technologies have enabled easy, non-invasive blood glucose monitoring and diabetes testing. The latest innovations have also ensured convenient and easy-to-use insulin self-administration devices.

Wearable technology has been one of the most prominent innovations to benefit and empower diabetics around the world. These devices have allowed diabetics to take charge of their own health outside of the doctor’s office and manage the condition effectively. Interestingly, smartwatches have shown immense potential to enable needle-free glucose monitoring over time. Apple Inc. is reportedly working on developing sensors to monitor blood sugar levels, a breakthrough that could turn devices like the Apple Watch into a means of monitoring important vital signs. The goal is to develop sensors that can noninvasively monitor and regulate blood sugar levels to help diabetics treat the condition from the comfort of their homes.

conclusion

An article in The New York Times recently shed light on the shrinking community of home health aides or personal care aides in the US, according to Paul Osterman of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management As home health care continues to decline, the country will face a shortage of around 350,000 paid care providers by 2040. This alarming fact makes the development of advanced remote patient monitoring devices all the more crucial.

With this need in mind, companies are looking for tagline technologies that will somehow replace human service providers with digital home health care assistants. To put this in perspective, home health aides are now testing Amazon’s Echo platform as a home health care assistant. The researchers hope that the online companion app will increasingly respond to customer needs, keep family caregivers informed at all times, and effectively optimize alerts, reminders, and features.

This opportunity is sure to catch the interest of tech giants like Google, Apple, and Amazon, giving them a chance to emerge as pioneers in home health care.

It seems that everyone is buying a new HDTV this year. The conversation around the water cooler is filled with tech buzzwords. When the HDTV standard in the US was originated by the ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee), they defined eighteen different standards, but not all standards are in common use.

The standards you should be familiar with for HDTV (High Definition TV) are 720p, 1080i, and more recently 1080p. The number in the format (for example, “720”) are the vertical lines of the screen resolution, and the letter in the format (for example, “p”) represents the technical screen. The letter “p” stands for “progressive” scanning and the letter “i” stands for “interlaced.”

HDTV (720p, 1080i, and 1080p) has a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9 (width:height). EDTV (Enhanced Definition) is standard definition television (SDTV, the format before HDTV), but with some software “dithering”. EDTV offers a superior picture than SDTV, but not as sharp as HDTV. EDTV uses progressive scan. EDTV is sometimes in a 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio.

For reference, standard definition television (SDTV, the format before HDTV) has 480 lines of vertical resolution and has an aspect ratio of 4:3. The SDTV signal in the US has historically been an interlaced signal. This means that your TV draws each frame in two passes: one for the even horizontal lines and a second pass for the odd lines. The specification is a maximum resolution for the technology, but signal sources are often less than the maximum. For example, VHS tape has approximately 240 lines of vertical resolution, over-the-air SDTV has approximately 330 lines of vertical resolution, and an SDTV DVD has approximately 480 lines of vertical resolution.

Televisions in Europe and Japan have been (and are) of progressive format. A progressive format makes a single pass for all lines. Progressive images look a bit smoother than an interlaced image, especially when there is a lot of motion on the screen, such as sports.

To add to the confusion, BluRay DVDs do, and later this year satellite TV companies will, broadcast in 1080p. This standard has both the highest number of lines of vertical resolution and the preferred progressive format. Dish Network will begin satellite broadcasting in 1080p in August 2008 with 150 HDTV channels, and DirecTV will begin both satellite and Internet broadcasting in late 2008 with approximately 130 channels of HDTV programming. Satellite companies compress their signal using MPEG-4 techniques, which reduces the bandwidth needed for transmission. Currently, the only source material for 1080p is movies, especially movies originally made for IMAX. None of the major networks (ABC, ESPN, etc.) have yet announced support for 1080p. Also, Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 have 1080p games.

HDTV video format: 720p, 1080i and 1080p, higher number is better right? Although 1080i is technically a higher resolution, it’s not the obvious choice. 1080i has 1080 vertical lines of resolution and 1920 horizontal lines of resolution. 720p has 720 lines of vertical resolution and 1280 lines of horizontal resolution. But the 720p system scans progressively. This compensates for the lower level of resolution. The 1080p signal is the best of both worlds, more picture information in a progressive format.

If your received signal, for example to a satellite receiver, is primarily standard definition, a 1080p TV will not significantly improve your picture compared to a 720p TV. Image quality is fundamentally limited by the source signal (480 lines of vertical resolution). Similarly, if your signal is from a 720 source, then the 1080 TV will not improve your picture. All high definition sports broadcasts from Fox, ESPN and ABC are broadcast in 720p.

Some networks have opted for the 1080i format because it provides more picture information, while ABC, Fox, ESPN and the National Geographic Channel have chosen the smoother 720p pictures. HDTV programming on CBS, NBC and other networks is broadcast in 1080i. Newer 1080i or 1080p HDTVs will likely make this type of programming a bit sharper than it would appear on a 720p TV. This becomes more important because as the TV screen gets larger, the visible difference in detail between 720p and 1080i and 1080p displays becomes more apparent. Because of this, most HDTVs larger than 50 inches are 1080p or 1080i.

1080p HDTV System Capabilities:

A 1080p HDTV displays all input signals at 1080p, because this is the unit’s normal resolution. If your system is less than 1080i or 1080p, then a special purpose chip in your HDTV upscales the signal. It will interpolate, like EDTV does with an SDTV signal. If the signal is 1080i, the system will combine the odd and even interlaced frames and display the entire signal as 1080p. The resulting performance should be similar to a true 1080p video source.

high definition cable television:

More than 100 million American homes can receive HDTV from their cable system, and all of the top 100 cable markets in the country have HDTV programming available. Unfortunately, most cable providers offer only a few of the 50+ HDTV networks available.

Satellite HDTV:

While the selection of local HDTV channels is generally better on cable than on satellite, the major satellite companies offer more national HDTV channels than almost all cable providers. Both DirecTV and Dish Network have promised to offer more than 130 HDTV channels by the end of the year. “Satellite will be limited not so much by the number of channels it can carry as by how many it can get,” Bob Scherman, Satellite Business News.

  • By 2010, 60% of US homes will use a satellite signal, up from 15% in 2002.
  • Resume:

Screen resolution for HDTV has become comparable to the microprocessor clock speed for personal computers. Although clock speed is not necessarily a perfect indication of overall system performance, it is often viewed as such by the consumer.

Interestingly, when a think tank, the SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers), recently ranked the importance of resolution, it ranked fourth. The SMPTE ranked contrast ratio, color saturation, color temperature, and gray scale above resolution in importance. The Imaging Science Foundation reached a similar conclusion. However, most HDTV manufacturers include quality features, such as improved contrast ratio at higher screen resolutions, in their top-of-the-line HDTVs. So if you buy a set with the best screen resolution, chances are you’re getting the manufacturer’s best lineup for other important screen criteria.

Prices have dropped significantly in the last two years, but it appears that the rate of price reduction has slowed down significantly recently. “TV shoppers visiting mass merchandisers may be more concerned with getting a low price and may not seek expert advice. However, TV shoppers should be aware that the lower prices they find on The mass stores are mainly due to the fact that these stores tend to sell second-tier brand-name TVs, rather than major brands like Sony or Panasonic. When you compare the price of a specific TV model at each type of retailer, prices are surprisingly similar,” said Larry Wu of JD Power.

And as a final note, be sure to consider the audio side of your system. George Lucas (Star Wars) once said that audio is half the experience of watching a movie. It is also true for a good football or basketball game.

All cell phones, once turned on, emit certain amounts of electromagnetic radiation in the microwave radio frequency range. During the last 15 years, when the use of mobile phones has become extraordinarily prevalent throughout the world, the effects of this radiation on human health have been the subject of intense study and have been the subject of numerous heated debates. In recent years, we have seen report after report linking prolonged cell phone use and exposure to varying amounts of cell phone radiation to brain tumors, cancer, stress, headaches, cognitive problems, and sleep disorders.

However, most of these studies have been disputed by other scientists or considered biased by other groups that also produced evidence to the contrary. As such, there is no definitive and indisputable conclusion, as of yet, about the dangers of cell phones. Scientists correctly warn that there is much we do not know about the effects of mobile phone radiation, and that the full impact may be known years from now, when it will be too late to reverse any damage.

“The latency between exposure and brain cancer could be 20 or 30 years,” notes Professor Devra Davis of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. By using mobile devices without a clear understanding of the dangers, “we are basically treating ourselves like lab rats in an experiment without any controls.”

To mitigate the potential dangers of cell phones, experts recommend certain safe practices in the use of wireless devices. Some of the most common recommendations are: Keep your cell phone away from your body, text more and talk less, use the headset or speakerphone function, use your landline phone, turn off your mobile phone while charging, keep phones Keep cell phones out of the reach of children and buy or use phones that have been certified or tested to emit the least amount of radiation.

It is with the intention of educating the public about the dangers of mobile phone radiation that the Environmental Working Group (EWG) has conducted a comprehensive study, covering over a thousand mobile phone models on the market, detailing the amount of radiation that each mobile phone emits. The EWG is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 1993 by Ken Cook and Richard Wiles, whose goal is “to use the power of public information to protect public health and the environment.”

These are the 10 mobile phones that emit the least radiation, according to the EWG report:

    1. Samsung Impression (SGH-a877) [AT&T]
    2. Motorola RAZR V8 [CellularONE]
    3 Samsung SGH-t229 [T-Mobile]
    4. Samsung Rugby (SGH-a837) [AT&T]
    5.Samsung Propel Pro (SGH-i627) [AT&T]
    6. Samsung Gravity (SGH-t459) [CellularONE, T-Mobile]
    7. T-Mobile Companion [T-Mobile]
    8. LG Xenon (GR500) [AT&T]
    9. Motorola karma QA1 [AT&T]
    10. Sanyo Katana II [Kajeet]

As the CTIA, the wireless industry’s lobby group, pointed out, there is still no conclusive, fully substantiated study on the dangers of cell phones. However, it’s no secret that government agencies in some countries have started posting warnings and ordering cell phone manufacturers to clearly state the amount of radiation emitted by each model they sell to the public.

Until we can finally close that gap in our knowledge about the dangers of cell phone radiation, we can only take precautionary steps to protect ourselves. An important way to protect our health, is by buying or purchasing mobile phone models that have the least amount of radiation.

Before I had an iPod Touch, I had an iPod Photo (and still do). The first thing I noticed about the Touch was that its battery seems to drain much faster. Of course, that’s not the case if I just play music like I did with my old iPod. The touch can do a lot more, but the price you pay for all the great power-hungry features of the iPod Touch or iPhone is a fairly short battery life. There are a few things you can do to maximize battery life and I’ve tried to compile a comprehensive list here of ways you can get as much time as possible out of a single charge. Of course, the point of having an iPod or iPhone is to use it and enjoy it, but if you find yourself in a situation where you won’t be able to charge it for some time, you might want to consider some of the following.

    Keep him sleeping.

    Make him fall asleep fast.
Obvious, I know, but the longer your device is active, the more power it uses. You can help minimize wake-up time by making sure the auto-lock feature is set to put your device to sleep as quickly as possible. Go to Settings – General – Auto Lock and set it to the default value of 1 minute. Don’t forget that you can also put it to sleep manually by pressing the sleep button on the top of your device.

    Avoid turning it off.
Unless you intend not to use your device for quite some time, it’s probably best to avoid turning it off completely. Rebooting your iPod or iPhone is likely to use more power than it will save. When not in use for short periods of time, simply use sleep mode.

Turn off features you don’t need.

    Turn off Wi-Fi.
If you’re not in WiFi range or just don’t need to use it, you can save some juice by turning it off. Go to Settings – Wi-Fi and turn it off. While you’re there, you can also disable “Ask to join networks”

    Disable equalizer.
Having the equalizer turned on uses more of your device’s processor and battery power. Turn off EQ by going to Settings – Music – EQ and selecting Off.

    Turn off Bluetooth.
If this is something you don’t use much, make sure it’s turned off. Go to Settings-General-Bluetooth and turn it off.

    Turn off rental services.
Decide how often you use this feature, and if not very often, turn it off. Go to Settings – General – and tap the switch next to Location Services.

Minimizes the number of times your device performs automatic tasks.

Reduce how often your device retrieves mail.
Apps like Mail automatically fetch data at preset intervals. You can save some battery life by reducing how often this happens. Go to Settings – Mail, Contacts, Calendars – Get New Data and select a longer period of time in the Get list. Even better, configure it manually. While you’re here, you can also disable Push. Instead of emails being constantly sent to your push email accounts, they will simply be received according to your Fetch settings.

Stop your iPhone from searching for a network.
If you know that you are in an area where there is a very weak or no mobile network, it may be a good idea to turn on Airplane mode. This will prevent your iPhone from constantly trying to find a connection. Go to Settings and turn on Airplane Mode.

    disable 3G
If you don’t need the speed that 3G offers, you may be able to save a little power simply by using EDGE. Go to Settings – General – Network and set 3G to Off.

    Avoid bright screens.

    Lower the screen brightness.
The iPod Touch and iPhone screen consumes a lot of battery. When he’s bright and busy, he’s using a lot of legs. You can minimize its effect on the battery by keeping the brightness as low as possible. Go to Settings – Brightness and drag the slider to the left as far as you feel comfortable. You can also make it even more efficient by turning on auto-brightness.

Minimize the use of third-party applications.
Using apps that keep the screen lit, like games, will of course drain your battery. The more you can avoid using them, the more your battery will thank you for it. The most efficient entertainment that your device can provide is playing music.

    Don’t use colorful wallpapers.
If you really want to take this to a silly extreme, you can also make sure not to use bright wallpapers. A black background requires little power.

    Avoid excessive processor usage.
Minimize the use of complex games.
It’s good to keep in mind that running many of the third-party applications, such as games, not only causes a lot of screen activity that drains the battery, but also makes the iPod’s processor work harder. This, of course, drains the battery.

    If all else fails.

Use a mobile charger or battery pack.
If you enjoy using your iPod or iPhone too much to consider many of the above options, or just need to play high-octane 3D video games on the go; you can always consider taking an extra battery with you. Some battery packs also come with solar panels so you’ll never be without your iPod or iPhone again. Freeloader does a good range of solar and battery charging combinations. By far the most versatile and acclaimed is the Globe Trotter Freeloader.

Converting opt-in leads into customers is one of the top digital marketing goals for many businesses. However, optimizing your sales conversion rate results is much more difficult than it seems.

Part of the challenge of optimizing your sales conversion rate involves attracting qualified leads. The more qualified they are, the more likely you can increase your sales conversion.

A major challenge in optimizing your sales conversion rate is to first learn as much as possible about each signup lead. That’s so you can customize the content you provide throughout your journey. This can lead to higher sales conversion rates.

Here are three digital marketing secrets to help you convert opt-in leads into customers. By optimizing the sales conversion rate, you can see your revenue increase.

Digital Marketing Secret #1: Get Qualified Leads By Focusing On Your Target Audience
Knowing your target audience is perhaps the top priority in marketing. This is because these are the people and organizations most likely to buy your products and services.

The best way to determine your target audience is through surveys and focus groups. This is where you should spend your first marketing dollars. The more you can determine the variables that affect your target audience, the more profitable your digital marketing campaigns will be. More, higher response rates.

A quality survey doesn’t just focus on demographics. It’s more important to focus on psychographics, buying behavior, and awareness of the problem your product or service solves.

A key to a quality market research campaign is targeting the people who best meet your target audience criteria. You can then refine the parameters of your target audience based on the results of your research. You can get preliminary results in as little as one day.

Surprisingly, many companies overlook this strategy far too often. But if you invest in this strategy, it can help you save money in the long run. Plus, increase your ROI.

Outsourcing this project can help speed up the process. Also, provide an outside perspective to help you better understand your audience.

Digital Marketing Secret #2: Communicate With Your Audience Through Mobile Devices
Your target audience is a moving target. They may not all be in the same place at the same time. Therefore, it can seem like a challenge to find the best way to capture them.

The best way to approach this is to first determine where a high percentage of your target audience is at any given time. Then find a way to get them there.

For example, if your target audience spends a lot of time on social media, you first need to determine what type(s) of social media they spend their time on. Then to focus your advertising and promotion on that location.

Another example is if your target audience spends a lot of their time traveling or out of the office, then communicating with them via mobile is more likely to give you better signup results.

The thing is, most people will easily look to the mobile phone for SMS text messages long before their email. Adding a link to your SMS text message to take your audience to a landing page that promotes your products and services can help you optimize your sales conversion rates.

Faster response equals faster sales conversion.

Digital Marketing Secret #3: Convince Your Audience With Relevant Content
Content marketing is a big part of digital marketing campaigns. Educating your audience through relevant content is a vital part of establishing credibility and trust.

But to sell, you have to persuade. That is the third secret of digital marketing. Persuasive content is a huge key to optimizing sales conversion rates. This is why you should invest in hiring the best copywriters to help you create persuasive content.

This includes persuasive email letters and landing pages that contain sales letters and videos.

The key to optimizing sales conversion rates is finding a persuasive copywriter who will provide you with persuasive content. In fact, investing in persuasive content is the single most important thing you can do to drive sales. Everything else is just window dressing.

How to maximize sales conversion rate results in your next digital marketing campaign
Once you know the parameters of your target audience, you can develop a viable digital marketing campaign strategy. The key to optimizing sales conversion is to create persuasive content and deliver it to your target audience wherever they are. This includes communicating with them on your mobile device. Investing in persuasive content starts with finding the best persuasive copywriter.
