I had the pleasure of chatting with Teen Psychic, Ross Bartlett this week, and believe me, I was blown away. The nineteen-year-old from the south of England is the calmest, most relaxed and spiritually centered teenager in the Western world I have ever spoken to. Well, grilled.

To smoothly facilitate my 2 page A4, no margin, half line spaced, font size 8 “test sheet”, I asked Ross about his tattoos. Well, there’s no escaping them really. Each one, Ross explains, has a specific spiritual meaning. His right arm, decorated with painted stars, in different sizes and colors, denotes the connection with the spirit world. The left of it trailing and swirling with leaves and vines, it symbolizes the connection with the earth. On his back is a beautiful pair of angel wings, skilfully applied by the craftsman carrying the ink. Angels are, of course, messengers, which Ross says is his specific duty; to deliver messages from the Spirit World.

Interesting; earth, angel, spirit… I look at the symbolic reference, on a conscious level, and I seem to get it, I’m not sure what it is but it’s like knowing without knowing and there are no words to describe the resonance? Weird!

Regardless, the qualified teen psychic and hypnotherapist explained that the tattoos are a meaningful reminder for him, to further his knowledge and personal development. His tattoos also reveal that Ross embraces philosophies from many different cultures and beliefs, with Hindu, Egyptian, pagan and Christian symbols present in his collection of body art.

I asked the nineteen year old psychic what he thinks it is to be spiritual. He paused for a brief moment, commenting that he had never been asked the question before. However, his response was clear and, in short, warm and honorable. The teetotaler, non-smoker, chemical-free and vegetarian believes wholeheartedly in only good thoughts, as negative thoughts only lead to temptation, respecting and caring for both self and others. Ross explained that being spiritual is about “understanding and compassion for others… understanding of oneself… and inner growth.”

In other words, he believes that you should look inward, work hard, and respect yourself. This young psychic, surprisingly, has the same spirit as rock legend Meatloaf: that you must work on yourself, making a concerted effort to look at the “man in the mirror.”

Now moving on to grow – and develop as a Medium.

At the tender and, some would say, very significant age of fourteen, Ross began taking meditation classes at his local Spiritualist church. Soon the church offered him a place in a closed (private) development circle. The circle taught him to open up to the Spirit World, strengthen her bonds and communication skills, and hone her clear vision. They continued with meditation, practiced visualization techniques, and most importantly, trained him to close himself off so that spirit could not appear whenever they wanted.

But what about life at school?

Ross explained that his school was “very hard”, but that his life did not become difficult. Many of the children learned of Ross’s psychic abilities through his parents, who had seen the Teenage Psychic demonstrate his ability at the Spiritualist Church. Those who knew he was clairvoyant accepted and understood, which I think is a rarity, given the non-spiritual setting. I also believe that the support he received from his mother (who introduced Ross to the Spiritualist Church), his close friends and of course the church certainly helped him a great deal during what can be very difficult years. and confused.

Through his website, I learned that Ross was interested in quantum mechanics, so I asked him to explain his understanding of the topic and how it relates to his work. The enthusiasm that emanated from this young man was electric, exciting and he made me want to travel back in time to my science lessons, to really pay a little more attention!

Ross described how Quantum Theory could provide explanations about the different dimensions we live in and how we link to the Spirit World, through consciousness. “Science cannot connect science with consciousness,” Ross said, “Thought and consciousness are the building blocks of our reality…, (and) without consciousness nothing else could exist.”

He explained De Ja Vu’s feeling as a real memory. He believes that even before we came into this life, our consciousness had already made all the decisions about what we experience in this life. Ross continues: “There are an infinite number of parallel universes, all with different choices and decisions.”

The picture I imagine of Ross’s theory is this; Imagine that there are an infinite number of endless vertical straight lines. All lines are dotted with markers, a bit like the London Underground station “circles”. If you are currently on a particular route, but then choose a different route, you jump to a manufacturer on another line. However, it seems that this theory has a problem, since we are not in fact fluttering through life on a random pleasure trip, since our conscience has already predestined the results.

Ross, thankfully, injects a Star Wars analogy: Anakin Skywalker has a vision in which his girlfriend dies, so he goes to great lengths to change the outcome, changing his decisions. However, he didn’t make an iota of difference as death was already preordained and would have happened anyway, because the decisions he believed she had changed ultimately led to her death anyway.

This young scientific mind, albeit extrasensory, offers more theories and wonderful little gems to ponder. time, energy is neither created nor destroyed because it is everything”.

“The act of looking for something will create something for us to find” is Ross’ short theory of the Law of Attraction, according to which your thoughts create your reality. However, he warns, what is proven now may not be true in years to come. He explains that Einstein’s Theory of Relativity was far beyond his time, at the time. However, the same theory, which has been spoon-fed into the mouths of (willing, I might add) science students for years, has now been proven wrong. He asks the question (which he cheerfully labels a prediction): “What do you mean there won’t be a radio connecting every home to the Spirit World in years to come?”

My sight? Ross Bartlett and Professor Brian Cox locked in a room for 24 hours (with occasional food and water, of course) with whiteboards, markers, sticky notes, and a laptop; just to see what mind-boggling theories and scientific equations they come up with!

Returning to his work, Ross has appeared on BBC 3, demonstrating his mediumship skills in the star of I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of here, Joe Swash. The teen psychic said that he definitely enjoyed the experience of adding; “It was something different, something new.” He states that he is very open to the media and, in fact, welcomes it to reach out to those “who would not normally set foot inside a Spiritualist Church”. However, he is selective in what he does and comments, “He has to feel good.”

For a recent weekend psychic event in Coventry, UK, Ross was described as “one of the top four mediums in the country”. At the event, he appeared alongside Colin Fry, Derek Acorah and Ralph Keeton. I asked Ross if he ever felt patronized by what I described as “old school” mediums. He replied, “No. They respect me because I went out and did my thing.” Although he added that “mediums generally don’t get along with other mediums, (as there is) there is a lot of competition, ego and jealousy.” He adds that there’s a lot of “ego massage, with autographs, people wanting to take a picture of you, people coming up to you wanting to talk to you.”

Over the next year, Ross will continue his public demonstrations, in halls, theaters, pubs and clubs. The teen psychic will also take his work to Norway and Sweden, where he reports that clairvoyance is becoming very popular. He has traveled to the US for private one-on-one readings. In addition, Ross has just completed the first stage of his autobiography, which will be published in January 2013.

With his popularity rising by the day and the demands on his clairvoyance becoming more abundant, Ross still believes that overcharging is “out of the question” for what he does. As a full-time medium, he of course needs to be paid to survive, but he states that financial rewards (or rather profits) “should be avoided.”

I asked Ross if he had any advice for the budding “young” medium. He answered:

“Be who you are – Reflect your own personality – Take one step at a time – Practice, practice, practice – Remember why you started”

Ross made it clear that his last point related to intent; if you develop yourself to help people, then you really should carry on that ethic.

In conclusion, to me, referring to Ross Bartlett as anything other than a young man would be disrespectful, although the “Teen Psychic” label has really catapulted him into the fray. He is polite, friendly, aware of his own responsibility in the work he does, very inquisitive, knowledgeable, far-sighted and, in my opinion, oozes humility.

Refreshing?

Yes actually!

WoW leveling guide addons are the necessary component for any WoW player who wants to ensure their success by leveling up at speeds they thought impossible. Why is your old Nintendo worth so much money? Why are people so interested in outdated hardware? What could be attractive? As the games progress and the graphics improve, it seems that one of the most important parts is left out. The fun level of games! Now that the competition in the video game industry is so aggressive, game developers are focusing more and more on how the game looks and not on the drag value. In the past, games didn’t look that good, and while marketing focused some of its energy on graphics, most of it was spent on gameplay. We’re already seeing systems like the Wii and Xbox 360 include downloadable or purchasable content from retro games. People can buy their old Nintendo or Super Nintendo games and play them on their Wii or Xbox 360. This allows the Nintendo Company to make money off of a product it no longer makes. Also, money is found as the cost for them to produce and distribute these old and retro games is next to nothing. The production of the multimedia disc is cheap and having it for download is not even less expensive for them. From a business standpoint, being able to charge for old retro games is a great marketing idea from Nintendo. Play Station has also tried Play Station 1 games for PSP, but there is a very poor selection.

It wouldn’t be too difficult and it would be in the best interest of any of these game companies to port all the most successful retro games and then charge a small fee for them on their current systems. It seems that these companies have forgotten about these games and have focused on current games for their consoles. It seems a shame that porting old retro games to a newer system isn’t done anymore, as there are plenty of rare games for these retro consoles that can cost up to $300.

I still play my old sega genesis, super nintendo, nintendo video game consoles a lot more than my newer console. I feel like the games are easier to learn and not as complex. Many of the newer games now are so advanced that it takes a lot of time and dedication to get it right or even figure it out. I think this can be a negative, especially when most people just want to play a game that you can jump right into. While it’s great that we have these beautiful graphics, how good is it overall and how much fun, if the game is so complex that most of your market can’t play it as well as enjoy these games and the gaming experience?

When I was a kid I loved playing video games. It was the most fun I could have. After I hit adolescence, he seemed to lose interest in video games. I had a lot of fun with the Genesis and the Nintendo 64 and the Dreamcast was one of the best consoles in terms of training for me, but after that when I got my Xbox it just kind of stayed there. Even though he had some of the best games, he only played them with friends and even then not as much. I now have an Xbox 360 and while it could be argued that the games for it have made a lot of impression on the game, for example Gears of War 2 is one of the best games on the 360, I still only play it socially with friends. I don’t know if I grew up with video games or if games don’t appeal to me anymore, but it seems like I’m still turning on my genesis and playing classic games.

Sparkling and creamy Orange Julius. A popular drink since the 1920s. Originally, a simple orange juice stand in Los Angeles was owned by a struggling businessman named Julius Freed. One of his clients came up with a drink that would reduce the acidity of orange juice just by adding milk, egg whites, and a little sweetener, and then churning it. Thus, the Orange Julius drink was born, which was an instant hit, turning Mr. Freed’s boring juice stand into a bonanza. (One can only hope that the customer who created it got a percentage). Now owned by Dairy Queen, the drink remains basically the same.

Oranges date back to 2500 BC. C. in China and are the most cultivated fruit tree in the world. Between the 10th and 15th centuries, oranges appeared in Spain and southern Italy thanks to well-traveled trade routes. In the mid-17th century, King Louis XIV of France ordered a large orange orchard to be planted on the grounds of the Palace of Versailles. (When those French kings liked something, they didn’t waste their time).

Spanish explorers likely brought oranges to the Americas and Mexico sometime in the 16th century, traveling as far as Florida and southern California during the following century. Clearly, those two states dominate the US citrus market due to their ideal climates. Although British sailors were nicknamed “Limeys”, it is more likely that oranges were the favorite passengers on ships, providing vitamin C and fruit for the crews. Loved around the world, both the popular Valencia and navel oranges are affordable, have a long shelf life, and provide nutrition for people of all ages, and their juice remains the number one breakfast preference. Real trees and fruits have been mutated and grafted over centuries to achieve the desirable fruit we know today. In the US, 60% of the orange harvest is grown in Florida with a current value of 1,170 million. Internationally, in 2015, 71 million tons of oranges were produced, led by Brazil with 24%, followed by China and India.

Meanwhile, in Spain and Italy, blood oranges, named for the red color of their flesh, were common since the 15th century, but were latecomers to the US market and achieved some popularity in recent decades.

During his travels to France, President of Foodies Thomas Jefferson became familiar with the orange and must have had the fruit shipped from Florida when he resided in Monticello and enjoyed it in season, along with jam for breakfast. (Not much was lost in the fruit department.) Although he did not grow orange trees in his own orchards, he did plant fake orange trees for his fragrant flowers.

With the invention of refrigerated shipping and railroads, oranges became a huge cash crop, and demand has increased every decade. Americans love their oranges in many different ways:

Creamsicles – First appeared in 1923 from the Popsicle Company, refreshing orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream on a stick;

Orange sherbet – a frozen dessert similar to sherbet but containing a small amount of milk solids to give it a creamier texture, by far the most popular flavor;

Orange juice and fresh oranges peeled and eaten sliced or chopped; in its simplest form;

Orange juice drinks: These are usually made with a small amount of juice or flavoring, lots of water, and sugar;

Blueberry Orange Bread – your basic orange bread with added blueberries, also muffins;

Orange-flavored candies: gelatin, hard jelly beans, the most popular flavor for many candies, including chocolate-covered orange peel; (remember Chuckles? Which flavor did you reach for first?)

Orange Soda Pop: Orange Crush, the first carbonated orange soda, launched in 1911, followed by Fanta Orange, originated in Germany as a substitute for cola in 1940, and Sunkist, the three best-selling brands;

Orange Jam: discovered by the Greeks and Romans, first made with quince and honey, it differs slightly from other jams by using the peel of the fruit; the British and Scots have been eating jam since the 18th century;

Sunkist, Minute Maid and Tropicana: giants in the orange juice, citrus-flavored soft drinks and other products industry;

Orange Chicken: Popular Hunan Chinese chicken dish with chicken pieces breaded, fried and covered in a sweet orange sauce;

Duck a l’Orange: Those French chefs don’t miss a trick; roast duck with orange sauce, fit for a king;

Although oranges share the citrus market with their close cousins lemon, lime and grapefruit, their sweetness sets them apart, they take their place among the top five favorite American fruits and are no longer just for breakfast. That guy Julio. It must have started something.

.NET Framework is a piece of software, developed by Microsoft, that provides a number of basic functions to the Windows platform.

Any application developed in “.NET” has the benefit of a range of different updates, features, and libraries that are not available without the package.

The tradeoff is that for applications to work on your system, you need to have .NET installed and running. This error tends to show up when you try to install version 3.5.

The solution, according to Microsoft, is to perform a core update of the Windows operating system from an ISO file. This is not a major issue, but there are a number of other steps you can take as well.

because

The error is usually displayed with the following message:

Error: 0x800f0906

The source files could not be downloaded.

0x800F0906 – CBS_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE

Error code: 0x800F0906

The cause of the problem is that the “Windows Image” is corrupted.

This means that certain files, settings, and options within the Windows operating system will not work properly, causing the error to appear.

The fix is a combination of updating Windows and making sure there aren’t any core bugs with your setup, etc.

Solution

1.CFS/DYSMO

The “SFC” (System File Checker) + “DISM” (Deployment Image Servicing and Management) applications are standard elements of the Windows ecosystem.

While they are very effective, unfortunately they are not that good at fixing the 0x800f0906 error.

However, they are the least intrusive way to work towards a solution and therefore should be tried at least before doing more heavy lifting.

  • Press “Windows” + “S” keys on the keyboard
  • This will open the “search” box, in which you need to type “CMD”
  • From the list that appears, right-click “Command Prompt” with your mouse and choose “Run as administrator”

When it loads, type the following:

  • “SFC /scan now”
  • This will run for some time, after which it will show progress “results” (should be ok)
  • Once complete, type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth”
  • This will perform another scan – let it run and then at the end it should show you the results.
  • Restart your PC

The purpose of this is to clean up any of the “system” files that may be present on your system.

Windows has a large number of “system files” that are necessary for it to function at its best. Both SFC + DISM can fix most of these problems, but not all.

It is very likely that the error 0x800f0906 will not be resolved with this step alone.

2.Internet connectivity

The next step is to check internet connectivity.

This may sound trivial, but it often happens that a lot of systems will have specific problems with the way their internet is connected.

If you want to make sure your computer can download the appropriate files/updates, you need to make sure your internet is fully working:

  • Load your preferred web browser
  • Try connecting to the “Windows Update” website

If the connection works in a browser, you’ll need to try it from CMD:

  • Press “Windows” + “S” keys on your keyboard
  • In the “search” box that appears, type “CMD”
  • Right click on the listings and select “Run as administrator”
  • Type: “ping update.microsoft.com” (no spaces)
  • If the ping is successful, you should be fine

3. Group Policy Settings

If the above doesn’t work, you’ll need to make sure your user account has the correct permissions to download various updates (such as .NET).

  • Press “Windows” + “S” keys on your keyboard
  • In the “Search” box, type “Group Policy” and click the “Edit Group Policy” list that appears

In the applet that loads, do the following:

  • Select “Computer Settings” on the left sidebar
  • Select “Administrative Templates” + “Systems”
  • In the list that appears, select “Specify settings for installation and repair of optional components”
  • Select “Enabled” in the settings menu on the left
  • Click OK”
  • Try to install .NET again

If this does not work, it is likely that the “source” of the installation is corrupted or damaged. To fix this, we can use the Windows installation media.

4. Windows installation media

Finally, you want to try using the Windows installation media to create a set of new files that any .NET installation can use.

This is a common practice, and can be done by following the steps below:

  • Search for “Windows Media Creation Tool”
  • Click on the first Microsoft site that appears
  • Click the “Download Tool Now” button
  • Save the file to your hard drive and upload it
  • Select “Create ISO”
  • Follow the steps to create an ISO (which you then need to double-click to “mount”)

Once the ISO is mounted, you will be able to reference your files as needed.

To do this effectively, you’ll be able to use the third step, except this time you’ll be able to manage the “source” to include any installation files your system might need.

You can do this using the following:

  • Follow the steps in “Group Policy Settings” in step 3
  • Before clicking “OK”, enter “[[ISO drive path]]/sources/sxs” in the “Alternate Source File Path” box
  • Run “gpupdate /force”
  • Add the .NET function
  • Restart your PC

If the above doesn’t work, it suggests you have a deeper problem within Windows.

To resolve this, you’ll need to talk to someone with direct access to your system or people who can categorize the error for you. Obviously, an article from the Internet can’t do that.

Everything goes up and down in leadership. I have always been interested in George S. Patton. Some attribute his work to winning World War II. Obviously, it was a great team effort to pull it off, but studying General Patton and his role as a leader is good for any inspiring leader.

Why is this important to me?

I always want to ask this question as if I am sitting in your shoes. I do not want to waste your time. Leadership is needed today more than ever. The post-World War II generations have seen good times. The coming storm of the debt crisis, terrorism and the implosion of the world economy may lead to very difficult times that will require determination and leadership.

The times hardened George Patton to become an excellent leader. He was born in 1885 and died in 1945. This means that he lived through World War I, the Great Depression, and World War II. Unfortunately, nowadays, if children have to turn off Xbox, they get angry because parents are not fair. This is a real problem and that is why leadership should be studied.

Timeless Leadership Principles is divided into three separate sections. Section one describes all of Patton’s accomplishments during World War II. I recommend you study Patton’s history, but simply put, he covered more ground with the Third Army and was instrumental in winning the war. For the sake of time, I will cover 5 main points from section two of the book. Note: Richard Stillman observed Patton for over a year when Patton commanded the Third Army, so he had first-hand knowledge of Patton’s leadership style.

1. Be in good physical shape; Be mentally positive; Be financially secure: the Third Army consisted of more than 400,000 soldiers. To lead an organization like that, your house must be in order. If you are unhealthy, in debt, or have a bad attitude, no one will follow you. In war, leaders know that their direction and decisions are life and death and they need to focus on the tasks and goals at hand. The last thing they need to consume is the three staples of daily concern regarding physical, mental, and financial health. A quote from Patton sums this up: “High fitness is vital to victory, fatigue makes cowards of us all. Fit men don’t tire.”

2. Lead by example; Go for the jugular; Be bold: Patton delegated authority better than anyone. He understood that to win the war he needed to be close to the troops and focus on the most important tasks at hand. This included being in the field and walking with the men in the combat zones. He was not an ivory tower administrator, but an effective leader. Going for the jugular and never paying twice for the same property won us the war. With Patton, there was no defense. He attacked all the time and never stopped. This is an excellent leadership quality because you are growing or dying, there is no stable state. These three principles require discipline. According to Patton: “Discipline is based on pride in the profession of arms, meticulous attention to detail, and mutual respect and trust. Discipline must be a habit so ingrained that it is stronger than the emotion of battle or fear of death.”

3. Acquire Expertise in their Profession; Know your competition; Post his achievements: Patton was an excellent military student of the war. He studied history and understood why countries won and lost wars. He was also a student of his competition: the German commander Rommel. He read Rommel’s writings and knew how he did things. One of the greatest exploits of World War II was the lure of the Normandy invasion. The Germans respected Patton and were betting that he would lead any major offensive. Eisenhower knew this and used Patton as a decoy while the Americans stormed Normandy Beach. These are the benefits of publicizing his achievements. If he is a smart leader, he can use his achievements for the benefit of his team.

4. Patton’s Fatal Flaw – Know Your Achilles’ Heel – Patton made a few political mistakes throughout his WWII career. He was the target of media scrutiny after he slapped a battle-weary soldier in Italy. Patton was tough and did not want men wounded in battle to be disgraced. After this incident, he mistakenly insulted the Russians (not his intention) and it spread like wildfire which cost him his command. According to Patton: “GD’s stupid comment: I know better.” Do you know your Achilles heel? If not, learn it and otherwise it will affect you as a leader.

5. Be an effective writer and speaker. Most people don’t know this, but George S. Patton was dyslexic. Learning for him was a challenge, but he did it anyway. To be an effective leader, you must be a lifelong learner. Imagine controlling 400,000 lives in the greatest war in history. This requires dedication of oneself to the cause. This is much bigger and more difficult than just running a business.

General Patton’s Timeless Leadership Principles is a good book and should be read by all aspiring leaders. Great leaders don’t get fired in today’s world and if they do, it’s because of incompetent people. By committing to continuous improvement toward a leadership goal, you can secure your future. The world is short of great leadership.

I hope you have found this brief summary useful. The key to any new idea is to work it into your daily routine until it becomes a habit. Habits are formed in as little as 21 days. One thing you can take away from this book is discipline. Make discipline a daily goal around your true purpose in life. If you know what that purpose is, then establish discipline and create the clothing necessary to achieve your life’s ambitions.

The Google dictionary definition of prosperity is “the state of being prosperous.” Synonyms listed with the definition include profitability, wealth, affluence, opulence, luxury, good life, milk and honey, (good) fortune, ease, abundance, comfort, security, well-being, e.g. “she deserves all the prosperity of the which he now enjoys.”

While definitions and many in society use “prosperity” as a reference to wealth and financial gain. There is a related school of thought that expands the prosperity framework to not just be financially “prosperous,” but to include a way of being, called “prosperity thinking or mindset.” This is talking about the ability to see your entire life through a prosperity lens in your mindset. This is significant because research has shown that the vast majority of human thoughts are negative, which is the opposite of prosperity thinking. There is a variety of research showing that negative thinking is more natural to humans, which would mean prosperity/positive thinking, and thinking is not natural to humans.

– 80% of human thoughts per day are negative (2)
– our attitudes are more influenced by bad news than by good (3)
– in the English dictionary, 62% are negative emotion words vs. only 32% positive words (4)
– 75-98% of mental and physical illnesses come from our mental life! (1)

In my years of studying, learning, and working in personal growth and development, psychology, counseling, and coaching, there are a few concepts that rise to the top to help you shift your mindset toward a more prosperous mind. The value of this is not only positive for your state of mind and your inner well-being, but it affects you physically and affects the rest of your life (actions and attraction). Some may find the topic of positive psychology “fluffy,” “optimistic thinking,” or unrealistic, however, when people find themselves surrounded by negativity, depressed, stuck, and constantly fighting the “funks,” these simple practices can Change her life.

While simple on the one hand, these are multifaceted “practices” to develop and master in your life. There are books that delve into the subject, but for the sake of introduction, here are three components that I have found to be key to developing and growing your prosperous mind.

1. Growth or fixed thought. To have a prosperous mind, you must have GROWTH THINKING vs. FIXED THOUGHT. This concept is most commonly taught in academia and education, yet it is the foundation of learning and a central way of thinking, learning, and growing that applies to all of our lives. Mindsetworks is a site that explains the origin of this concept. Stanford professor Dr. Carol Dweck studied thousands of children and coined the terms “fixed” and “growth” mindsets to describe the underlying beliefs people have about learning and intelligence. When students were encouraged to think about growth (“learning is my goal,” “effort makes me stronger”), their scores and results improved. In contrast, those who have fixed thinking, focus on their limitations and can even fall victim to the skills and talents they think they have or do not have without any control to improve. This is a great YouTube to explain how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75GFzikmRY0

2. Abundance vs. Shortage. To have a prosperity mindset, look at what IS POSSIBLE vs. what is NOT POSSIBLE. Abundance says that there is enough and there is much, trust that all that is has perfection. It creates satisfaction and trust of acceptance to see the value and benefit of what is. Scarcity focuses on what we do not have and what is not enough. It creates fear of lack and panic to take or receive because there won’t be enough or I won’t have enough. Due to our natural negative human wiring, it is natural to view the world and life from a sacristy perspective. For example, two children are sharing and they think, if I don’t get the toy I want now, I might not get it. As an adult, if you don’t get the job you apply for, scarcity worries you, I won’t get a job, or I’ll do poorly. The difference is an abundance mindset, which has similarities or overlaps with a growth mindset that sees it differently. Abundance knows that sometime I will have time with the toy. Abundance knows that if I keep trying I will get the right job at the right time. To me, abundance vs. scarcity is about trust vs. afraid.

3. Detachment vs. attachment. Lastly, detachment is the ability to let something go and if it is meant to be, it will come back. Attachment is a way of seeing, thinking and doing something. Usually attachment is getting attached my way. I have a preconceived idea of how it has to go and look and if it doesn’t happen that way, I see it as a failure. Detachment sets goals and has visions, but is open to how things can evolve or develop. That doesn’t mean drifting off course or ten directions, it simply means being flexible to possibilities and opportunities as they present themselves and being open enough to recognize them even if they weren’t what you expected. For example, you really want a job at Apple, but you don’t get it. He has the opportunity to volunteer at the high school and help with the technology club, which would be an opportunity to do something related to his goal and make connections that would help him achieve his goal in the future. Often even better opportunities present themselves than we can imagine. It’s about your attitude.

Prosperity Thinking = Growth Mindset + Prosperity Perspective + Detachment (what can I learn and how can I grow + what is possible and what can I do + open to what happens with no rules, limits or demands on how that evolves).

A good way to assess your mindset is to write down your goals and then 5 thoughts about your goals. Put them through the filter and make sure they have a growth mindset, have a prosperity perspective, and let go of attachments. If the thoughts are more fixed, few and attached, make a T chart and write the positive perspective on the other side. You can start to train your thinking and change the way you believe, think and respond to the world. The benefits will not only bring more joy and energy into your life, but the impact you will have on others will also be noticeable and significant.

1. There is brain research on how our thinking affects our behavior, in fact Dr. Leaf, a leader in human brain research says: “You are what you think: 75-98% of mental and physical illnesses come from our mental life!” https://drleaf.com/blog/you-are-what-you-think-75-98-of-mental-and-physical-illnesses-come-from-our-thought-life/

2. “In 2005, the National Science Foundation published an article about research on human thoughts per day. The average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those, 80% are negative and 95% are negative.” exactly the same repetitive thoughts as the day before and about 80% of them are negative.” By Faith, Hope & Psychology “80% of thoughts are negative… 95% are repetitive”

3. & 4. “Paul Rozin and Edward Royzman demonstrated in their research that the negative outlook is more contagious than the positive outlook. A study by John Cacioppo and his colleagues showed that our attitudes are more influenced by bad news than bad news.” good. Other researchers looked at language to study negativity bias. For example, there are more negative emotional words (62 percent) than positive words (32 percent) in the English dictionary.” (Psychology Today, “Are We Hardwired to be Positive or Negative”)

graphics

The biggest question in the gaming world is; which one has better graphics However, it is very difficult to answer. We say difficult because if you compare the graphics of the current Xbox 360 to the PS3, it will vary from game to game and generally the difference is not that big. It all depends on the way the games are made.

The only way to judge the graphics of both consoles is to look at what’s going on under the hood: check the GPU, CPU, and core system memory running the program.

Xbox One vs. Sony PS4 – Controllers

Microsoft has made some minor redesigns and redesigns of Kinect. Microsoft claims that they have made over forty improvements. However, most of the changes are related to ergonomics. An integrated battery compartment, new triggers and Wi-Fi Direct will come with the new controller.

PS4 – Moderate redesign and integrated Move

Sony has made some serious changes here. Now, there will be a motion light on the back of the controller, which will function as the

Move the motion control ‘sticks’. There is also a share button that allows you to instantly share gameplay moments. Sony has given a completely new look to Sixaxis. However, the shape of the controllers is very similar to the current model, but now users will get more control with a touchpad that sits between the D-pad and the buttons.

xbox one hardware

The Xbox One processor will be based on AMD’s Jaguar architecture. It will use a 1.75 GHz x86-64 octa-core APU that comes with 8 GB of DDR3 RAM with a memory bandwidth of 68.3 GB/s. However, according to some reports, 3GB of RAM will be reserved for the operating system and gaming applications.

The memory subsystem will also come with an additional 32MB of “onboard static” RAM, or eSRAM, with a memory bandwidth of 102GB/s.

The console has a Blu-ray Disc optical drive and a 500 GB non-replaceable hard drive.

The graphics processing unit (GPU) will run on AMD GCN. It will have a total of 768 cores running at 853 MHz providing an estimated maximum theoretical power of 1.31 TFLOPS.

The game console will feature Wi-Fi Direct, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11n wireless for networking.

The Xbox One will support 4K (3840 × 2160) (2160p) resolution video output and 7.1 surround sound. The Xbox One will have an HDMI 1.4 for both input and output, however it will not support composite or component video.

PlayStation 4 Hardware

The heart of both consoles is similar. Both have a processor developed by AMD. The PlayStation 4 will also use an AMD processor. The PS4’s CPU consists of eight x86-64 cores packed with 8GB of GDDR5 memory that will give the console considerable longevity.

The system can run at a maximum clock speed of 2.75 GHz. The PS4 will also come with secondary custom chips. This chip basically performs tasks associated with downloading, uploading, and social gaming.

The PS4 will support photos and videos at 4K resolution, but it’s not expected to be able to play games beyond 1080p. The console will have a 500 GB hard drive for additional storage, which can be upgraded by the user.

For networking, the PlayStation 4 will support Bluetooth, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and WiFi. Users will be able to include an auxiliary port for connection to the PS4 camera,

A mono headset, which can be connected to the DualShock 4, will come bundled with the system.

Who is more powerful?

The simple answer is the PS4. Look at the technical reasons mentioned above, it is clear that the PS4 is more powerful.

Do you know that the news that Sony’s PS4 is (almost) categorically more powerful than the Xbox One is one of the reasons why the PS4 pre-order sold out before the Xbox One?

However, it’s worth noting that there are likely to be only minor differences in the titles released for both consoles. There is little benefit to a developer in making one version much prettier than the other.

Design

Xbox One: 3.18kg, 10% larger than 360 design and ‘big black box’,

PS4: 2.8kg, tilted design,

Xbox One is big, while PS4 is sleeker, slimmer and will easily fit in the space under the TV.

Xbox One exclusive games

  • halo 5
  • Quantum Pause
  • sunset overdrive
  • rise of death 3
  • Ryse
  • Forza Motorsport 5
  • spark project
  • titan fall
  • Below
  • Murderous instinct

PS4 exclusive games

  • Killzone: Shadowfall

  • Octodad: Dead List Capture
  • infamous second son
  • driving club

The PS4 will reportedly have more exclusives within its first year. Right now, we only have this list of exclusive games available for PS4.

Price

This is a deciding factor, where PS4 clearly wins.

Xbox One = $499 (US), £429 (UK), and $599 (Australia).

PS4 = $399 (US), £349 (UK), €399 (Europe), and $549 (Australia)

The PS4 Camera, formerly known as the PlayStation 4 Eye, will cost $59 in the US, £54 in the UK and $99 in Australia. Even after this, the PS4 is still cheaper.

Sony may have a clear advantage this holiday season, because it is priced lower than its competitor.

According to Eurogamer, Sony will make a loss of around $60 per unit, but it’s a marketing ploy. Sony is actually looking for typical users who purchase a PlayStation Plus subscription and at least one launch title. That’s why Sony hopes to make a profit on the PS4 sooner.

An iPad battery is not blessed with a long lifespan. It would work for a few years and then it would die. When your health begins to deteriorate, you will begin to experience various problems. The battery might start draining faster than normal. Your iPad might shut down unexpectedly. The battery may only charge when plugged in. And, when the battery is completely drained, you cannot use other features of your device. Your iPad becomes as useless as the battery. Instead of waiting for the DEAD signal, it is better to replace the iPad battery at the first sign of battery problems. It will allow you to use your device without annoying interruptions.

Decided to buy a new battery or your iPad? Let’s take a look at how you can replace your battery.

Apple Stores if the iPad is still under warranty

Book an appointment with the Apple Store closest to you if your iPad is still under Apple’s limited warranty. The store will replace the battery for free. Plus, if you take your device to the store, you don’t have to worry about shoddy service or using substandard parts. The technician there will replace the old battery with only a genuine battery. However, you can’t expect an Apple store to replace the battery in a couple of hours. It is a busy place that receives a high volume of repair requests. Even a simple service like an iPad battery replacement can take up to five business days.

Third-party service centers if the iPad is not under Apple’s warranty

Has your iPad warranty expired? If yes, Apple store will charge you a hefty fee for battery replacement. You can still take your device to the store if you don’t mind the exorbitant out-of-warranty fees, the long drive, and the waiting line. But, if that matters to you, there is a second option available to you. You can take the help of a third party service center. At such centers, repair technicians usually replace your iPad battery within an hour. They will also charge you less than the Apple stores. Some well-known centers also offer a free pick-up and drop-off service. However, you cannot trust a third-party center in the same way that you trust an Apple store. You must first make sure that it is safe and reliable and that it has a team of trained technicians. Also, before you hand over your iPad, find out whether it uses genuine Apple parts or not.

Do it yourself if you want to save money

If you want to save repair costs, try replacing the iPad battery yourself. You can buy the necessary tools and new battery online and then follow the instructions provided by online DIY tutorials to replace the battery. However, the DIY option is very risky if you don’t have the skills or have never ventured inside your iPad.
