A son and his father were walking in the mountains.

Suddenly, the son falls, hurts himself and screams:

“¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating

somewhere on the mountain: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”

Curious, he shouts: “Who are you?”

Receive the answer: “Who are you?”

Angered by the response, he yells, “Coward!”

He gets the answer: “Coward!”

He looks at his father and asks, “What’s going on?”

The father smiles and says: “My son, pay attention.”

And then he shouts to the mountain: “I admire you!”

The voice replies: “I admire you!”

Again the man shouts: “You are a champion!”

The voice replies: “You are a champion!”

The boy is surprised, but does not understand.

Then the father explains: “People call this ECO,

but really this is LIFE. You back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflex of our actions. Life will give you back everything you have given it. ” (Anonymous)

Your life is not a coincidence. It’s a reflection of you! Proverbs declares: “As a man thinks, so is he, and as a man chooses, so is he.” If you want to know who is responsible for most of your problems, look in the mirror. If you could kick the person responsible for most of your problems, you wouldn’t be able to sit down for three weeks. It is time for us to get out of our own way.

Stop looking only where you are and start looking at what you can be. Be careful where your mind wanders; your words and actions follow it.

No one can beat you unless you beat yourself first. The self-image establishes the borders and limits of each of our individual achievements. If you doubt yourself, listen to Alexandre Dumas: “A person who doubts himself is like a man who enlists in the ranks of his enemy and takes up arms against himself.”

You carry with you the world in which you must live. Know this: when you have a big dream, your mind will be your biggest enemy. Remember that you are your own doctor when it comes to curing cold feet, a hot head, and a stuffy attitude.

You can be successful if no one else believes in you, but you will never be successful if you don’t believe in yourself. Whatever you consistently adhere to the words “I am”, you will be converted.

Let’s take a look at the teams that struggled, tripped over their own feet, and couldn’t find the playoffs if they got a first-round pick. Here are the worst teams in the NBA this year from 2009.

10. Charlotte Bobcats (25-35) – They look miserable this year and are unlikely to get better anytime soon. They have never made the playoffs and this certainly won’t be their year. They always get high draft picks, but they don’t seem to develop them. They could be the shortest-running franchise in history if they go bankrupt this year or next.

9. New York Knicks (24-35) – They drafted Danilo Gallinari but he has yet to become a superstar. Everyone else on his team isn’t exactly All-Star material, either. They finally have a good coach in Mike D’antoni who can turn things around, but it’s probably too late this season. Hey, at least they have the dunk champion (Nate Robinson).

8. Toronto Raptors (23-38): They have Chris Bosh, José Calderón, Jason Capono and Shawn Marion, so it surprises me why they aren’t winning! They probably need a better coach and another big man inside to dominate the post. Maybe they’ll find one in this year’s draft.

7. Golden State Warriors (20-39) – Stephen Jackson and Jamal Crawford are their best players, sad. They were considered one of the most athletic teams two years ago and defeated the top-seeded Mavericks, which had never been done in a seven-game series. Now look how low they’ve sunk. You can hear shouts of “Baron Davis, where are you?” if you listen carefully.

6. Minnesota Timberwolves (18-41) – They’ve been through a lot of coaching changes and struggled since the loss of Kevin Garnett. It’s going to take a great draft pick and a lot of heart next year for these guys to have a shot at greatness.

5. Oklahoma City Thunder (15-45) – I wasn’t even a fan of the Seattle Sonics and it still annoys me that a team as established as the Sonics got bought up and shipped to Oklahoma and changed their name! What gives? Either way, this team’s new outlook hasn’t helped them win games. Sure they have Kevin Durant, but he needs other stars around him to thrive. A good point guard in the draft would help, maybe his old Texas teammate AJ Abrams would bring some chemistry to the team.

4. Memphis Grizzlies (15-43) – They have a very young team, so there is some hope. It makes me laugh that they went looking for Marc Gasol (above) after having lost his older brother, Pau Gasol. Also, they are ready to face the Lakers and his brother in their next game. Good luck with that!

3. Washington Wizards (14-46) – Gilbert Arenas is finally starting practice and says his knee is getting better. But even if they win 20 straight games, they would still miss out on the playoffs. I think the Wizards missed their Finals window for the last three years.

2. Sacramento Kings (13-48) – Bobby Jackson is the best player on this team, and he’s past his prime. This team is likely to get a top 5 pick in the draft and they better go with someone who can change the game. It’s very likely that it will be three to four years before this team can turn around.

1. LA Clippers (15-46) – They have Baron Davis and Marcus Camby, but I don’t think they fit as a team. They need to hold on to their best players and stop trading their draft picks. They could use an excellent shooting guard like Ricky Rubio or James Harden to take their team to the next level.

Pittsburgh is a solid favorite for Super Bowl XL, but Seattle appears to have strong pockets of support among Las Vegas’ elite players.

“I had dinner the other night (at the Stardust) with some of the best handicapped young minds in Las Vegas, some very talented guys, and they all liked Seattle,” said internationally renowned sports bettor Lem Banker, clicking names like Steve Fezzik, Andy Iskoe and Nick Bogdanovich, a well-established former bookie on the betting side of the counter.

They are the wise men of Sin City and not, as Banker might point out, those of Jerusalem.

Animal lover Lem, who never met a dog he didn’t like, is riding the Seahawks (he’s also in the UNDER) and taking the points, but it’s hard to say how many points.

The number is increasing and the banker will wait to bet, thinking that this will get him the best.

“The Wise Men don’t have a great World Series and Super Bowl record,” Banker continued.

“(That’s partly because) hotels are forced to move money abroad.

“Pittsburgh is the big crowd favorite right now and the crowd number is 4 1/2.

“I’m going to wait to play and get value.”

“That’s how it works,” said Stratosphere Race and Sports director Robert Jaynes.

“The public bets on the favorite while the smart money waits until it sees a good shot, then moves in and takes the dog.

“They (the wise) seek courage.”

The Stratosphere, one of Bogdanovich’s former “homes”, is still in Pittsburgh minus 4 pairs.

“We’ve changed the juice, not the number,” said Jaynes, who reported seeing 4 1/2 and 5 at resorts like Rampart Casino and Golden Nugget.

“I don’t think it will go higher than 5 1/2,” Jaynes predicted, “because 6 is a key number. Same with 4.”

Veteran Las Vegas handicapper Andy Iskoe thinks the number could go as high as 5, but it will dip back down soon.

“I think a lot of the cash is going to have to settle for 4 1/2,” Iskoe said.

“My question to the other side is, ‘What has Seattle done to make you think they have no chance of winning?'”

Jaynes personally leans toward the Steelers, citing the strength of the schedule.

“However, I am a little worried about training,” he said. “(Mike) Holmgren has been there before and he’s won a Super Bowl.

Has experience.

Count Jack Snyder, assistant manager of sports and racebooks at Sam’s Town, Seattle corner.

“I’ll take the Seahawks and the points,” he said.

“The Steelers have been underdogs all year. Now they are the favorites and they have pressure on them and they have to win by more than 3.”

“That makes it two possessions, unless you’re talking touchdowns, one field goal isn’t enough.”

Jaynes thinks the game will close, “but history suggests it’s going to be a boring fight.”

“People talk about the strength of the schedule because Seattle had two games with Arizona, the 49ers and the Rams, and they all had bad seasons.

“I don’t think we’ve seen the best of the Seahawks yet.

“They’re not the road warriors that the Steelers are, but they have things that work for them.”

Seattle has an MVP running back in Shaun Alexander, a fast and mobile quarterback in Matt Hasselbeck, and a good offensive line.

“I really like those two guards that are Pro Bowlers,” Snyder said.

The total opened wide at 48 and reached 49; it was quickly staked at 47 1/2 (at one point, when the game was listed simply as an AFC-NFC matchup, the plus/minus was 45).

As one bookie put it, “Now it’s 47 1/2 in 20,000 places and 47 in another 20,000.”

“Our players have been betting LESS, not just because of the total, but because of a lot of other things, like the number of field goals,” Jaynes said.

Iskoe, a totals player who likes to go UNDER, predicts a score of 34-23 (Seattle), so he’s obviously OVER in this case.

“I think there will be a lot of passing and Pittsburgh will play very aggressively,” Iskoe explained.

“There is my reason.

“It won’t be an amazing Super Bowl, but it won’t be unbelievably bad either.”

2010 World Series teams

new york giants

Since moving from New York City to San Francisco before the 1958 season, the Giants and their fans have endured seasons of futility and disappointment. The Giants’ last World Series victory was in 1954 against the Cleveland Indians. Since the move, the Giants have reached the World Series three times since the 1958 relocation, but lost each time. The Giants played and lost to the Florida Marlins in their last NLD appearance in 2003, and the Marlins were the eventual World Series champions.

In this year’s Division Series, the Giants played the Atlanta Braves. and won the series three games to one. Playing against the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Championship Series, they were heavy losers as the Phillies were the two-time defending National League champions. Their victory over the Phillies marked the first time the NL West champion had reached the World Series since 2001.

Texas Rangers

The Rangers franchise and its fans also suffered greatly from the success. This team started out in 1961 as the Washington Senators and had ten of eleven losing seasons while there. In 1972, the team moved to Arlington, Texas, and did not participate in postseason games for more than 20 years.

In the 2010 ALDS, the Rangers faced the top-seeded Tampa Bay Rays. They split the first four games before the Rangers won decisively in game five. This was the first division series win in franchise history. Also, the Rangers were the last team to never win a postseason series.

Facing the New York Yankees in the ALCS, the Rangers faced a team they had never beaten in three postseason appearances. By shutting out the Yankees in six games, the Rangers reached their first World Series in team history. It also marks the first time since 1991 that the AL West champion has won the pennant.

The 2010 World Series

This year was the 106th Major League Baseball World Series. The playoff between the American League champion Texas Rangers and the National League champion San Francisco Giants for the Baseball Commissioner’s Trophy was a best-of-seven-game series. The Giants won the series and this coveted trophy 4-1 on November 1. This was their first World Series championship since 1954, and their first since moving to San Francisco from New York City in 1958.

Champion Commissioner’s Trophy

Unlike hockey’s Stanley Cup which is passed annually from champion to champion, a newly created Commissioner’s Trophy is presented each year. This baseball champion’s trophy was first awarded in 1967 to the St. Louis Cardinals. Since 1967, the Commissioner’s Trophy has been awarded every year except for 1994, when a season-ending player strike forced the cancellation of the entire postseason. The New York Yankees, with their seven World Series victories, have won the most Commissioner’s Trophies. In the National League, the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds are tied for the most trophies won with three wins each.

Trophy Design

The current Commissioner’s baseball trophy is made by Tiffany & Co. and has an approximate value of $15,000. Excluding the base, the trophy is 24 inches tall and 11 inches in diameter. Being made of sterling silver, it weighs approximately 30 pounds. Highlights of this eye-catching trophy are 30 golden flags, one for each of the Major League Baseball teams. These flags are raised on a silver baseball covered with lines of latitude and longitude that symbolize the world. The baseball stitching is pure Tiffany, done in 24-karat vermeil. The commissioner’s signature is inscribed on the base, along with “Presented by the Commissioner of Baseball.” This is a new design and was first presented to the winning New York Yankees at the end of the 2000 World Series.

This baseball trophy is truly one of a kind and emblematic of the skills needed to make it through a long season, the playoffs, and win the World Series.

The history of hockey is similar to that of golf in that it basically has its roots in any game that involved a stick and ball or stone that have been played for thousands of years. Very crude and crude forms of these games have taken place for thousands of years throughout Europe, Egypt and South America that have shaped hockey history.

Hockey began to form clearer roots throughout England in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. These were treacherous games often pitting the whole town against another town and teams could often have up to a hundred players and players often played with serious injuries and endured several days of these games.

The sport we are most familiar with today began to form at Eton University in England when they actually started formulating rules around 1860. Then the first Hockey Association. in hockey history it was formed in 1875 which clarified more rules.

Further growth of the sport was generating in North America as new settlers arrived on the continent. Montreal was credited with the first organized game in hockey history which was played in 1875 by college students. The students then formed more associations and leagues and created new rules at the same time.

The game continued to grow in popularity, becoming so popular that Montreal hosted the first Ice Hockey World Championship in 1883. European hockey continued to grow at the collegiate level, while various universities formed fierce rivalries.

Some dramatic rule changes were applied that helped progress the game to an eleven-player field, while the hockey team also began to evolve. The use of safety equipment including pads, helmets, mouthpieces, and eye shields has improved dramatically since the earliest days of hockey history. It was not unusual to even wear a helmet until the last few decades.

The international appeal of hockey grew enormously due to the Olympic Games. It was first played at the 1924 Games and only men’s teams were allowed. Canada was a safe bet to win the gold medal, having won the first six of seven golds. From the mid-1950s to the 1980s, the Soviet Union dominated. Although the US won its first gold medal in hockey history in 1960, it was the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” in which our college amateur team beat the Russian favorites that spurred a growing American appetite. for hockey.

The NHL, as we know it today, was formed in 1917 and consists of 30 teams, 24 of which are from the United States and the rest from Canada. Most of the players come from Canada, Europe and America. There is also an International Association called the International Hockey Federation which was formed in 1908 and continues today to host some of the largest international ice hockey tournaments. These two organizations have helped shape and govern hockey as we know it today. The sport has grown so much from sticks and balls to a major international activity that generates billions in revenue every year and features some of the most incredible athletes on the planet, so goes the history of hockey.

Stars known by three names accounted for all responses in a category on a popular game show last week, and I correctly identified three of them. Van Halen’s David Lee Roth was the musical answer, while Billy Bob Thornton and Joe Don Baker were the two actors I recognized.

For some reason I had anticipated that the category would include a sports figure that fit the description, but the other two responses were not athletes. Upon reflection, I understood why no sports stars appeared, as I could only think of a handful that had three names.

These are the best examples in baseball, enough to complete a lineup.

First baseman Willie Mays Aikens

The famously named slugger helped propel the Kansas City Royals to a pennant and multiple playoff appearances.

Second baseman, Billy Jo Robidoux

Primarily a left fielder, Robidoux would be asked to fill in at second for our three-name team.

Shortstop, Chin Leng Hu

Having spent most of his career with the Dodgers, this infielder gave announcer Vin Scully to call Hu out on first as he reached base.

Third baseman Jim Ray Hart

With over a hundred home runs in his career, Hart was one of the San Francisco Giants’ power hitters of the 1960s.

Left field, Wily Mo Pena

He broke into the majors with Cincinnati, who a few years later traded the underachieving slugger to the New York Yankees.

Center Garden, Shin Soo Choo

After several excellent seasons in both Cleveland and Cincinnati, Choo signed a lucrative free agent contract to play for his current team, the Texas Rangers.

Right field, John Ford Griffin

With a sweet left-handed swing, Griffin hit over .300 in two different stints with the Toronto Blue Jays in the early 2000s.

Receiver, John Ryan Murphy

He backed up Joe Mauer for one season with the Minnesota Twins, who sent him to the Arizona Diamondbacks several years later.

Starting pitcher, John Henry Johnson

Over a ten-year span, the lefty spent time with Boston, Texas and Milwaukee, but his best season came when he posted eleven wins for the Oakland A’s.

Relief pitcher, Ryan Rowland Smith

Seattle relied on this guy to be the Mariners’ lefty bullpen specialist for four years, returning in 2014 to enjoy a comeback year with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Psychological

Plastic surgery that produces a successful result can increase the self-esteem and self-confidence of most patients. For example, when a woman was teased when she was young because of her “Dumbo” ears, she will refrain from socializing until such time as her ears are surgically improved.

Correcting what patients consider a “problem” will help reduce social anxiety and make them feel less self-conscious. They may become less vulnerable, more outgoing, and even eager to show off their new physical features. Their self-confidence can have an impact in different areas, such as their social life, their career, and even their relationships. Feeling comfortable and confident in yourself will radiate positivity in your actions.

Also, according to some studies, good looks are a springboard to a successful career, especially when it comes to getting hired, promoted, and getting a raise. Other studies reveal that attractive people are treated more favorably in restaurants and retail stores. In places where appearance and youthful appearance matter, plastic surgery is an effective way to have a successful career.

A successful plastic surgery procedure for most people can result in improved self-esteem and confidence. A woman who was teased as a teenager for her “buck teeth” smile will avoid smiling until her smile is surgically corrected.

Effect of health on quality of life

There are many cases in which plastic surgery can improve a patient’s quality of life. These refer to surgeries that are considered medically “practical.” An eyelid lift, which removes the covered part of the eyelid, is also capable of drastically improving a patient’s vision. A woman who undergoes a breast reduction will feel relief from the prolonged pain she experiences on a daily basis to drastically improve her lifestyle. A patient who has had their sagging skin removed after losing 20 excess pounds will definitely feel more comfortable and motivated to maintain her appearance by increasing her physical activity levels.

A breast cancer patient who has undergone a single or double mastectomy can restore her body through breast reconstruction. Reconstructive surgery can be the solution to the problem of a patient who presents a noticeable disfigurement, so that he feels free to face people and not be looked at or judged by them as before. Plastic surgery can be a life-changing procedure for many people.

Risks Vs Rewards of Plastic Surgery

The potential rewards from plastic surgery depend on each individual. According to most patients, the only regret they can think of is not having done it sooner.

However, there are also those who regret having done it, have not done enough research or have not chosen the right surgeon. Certainly, the risks are minimized when you do your homework or learn more before going under the knife.

Price should not be a primary or determining factor when choosing a surgeon. Potential patients should ensure a surgeon’s credentials and ask for referrals to steer clear of red flags.

Additionally, patients considering plastic surgery should be in the best of health and should consider any health concerns more than their desire to look good.

There is some type of risk involved with all plastic surgeries and this varies from procedure to procedure. Some are minimal while others are serious. Patients will have to decide if it’s all worth it. They should educate themselves. They have to consider the pros and cons. They can also ask the advice of their loved ones.

Black Sabbath have long been considered one of the heaviest heavy metal bands. After 40 years, his monstrous riffs still echo in the brains of hard rock fans around the world. Sabbath was always much more than a heavy rock band; acoustic interludes, jazzy phrasing, pop melodies, and bluesy riffs are just a few of the textures that can be found in his music. Still, their overall sound has always been pretty unforgiving.

Here’s a list of some of the songs that I think cement Sabbath’s well-deserved reputation as the heaviest in the country.

1.) “Into the Void” – from Master of Reality, 1971

If I had to pick just one song to justify Black Sabbath’s unmatched heaviness, it would be this. This single song has more top metal riffs than most guitarists have in the course of a career. As is often the case, Tony Iommi leads the pack here with a tone and attack that make listening to this song feel like you’re slowly encased in molten iron (um, in, you know, in a good way). However, the band’s chemistry shouldn’t be discounted here; without Ozzy’s voice crying in the desert and the inimitable rhythm section of Bill Ward and Geezer Butler working and swaying simultaneously, the track’s heaviness would be less than half. Advances in technology have naturally made it easier to get heavy, heavy guitar tones or production sounds, but the key to why these things still sound alarmingly heavy even today lies in the crazy hand vibrato. of Iommi, along with the chemistry with the rest of the band.

2.) “Iron Man” – from Paranoid, 1970

Exaggerated? Maybe. Still, despite the fact that this classic riff is one of the first things every rock guitarist learns (along with Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water”), and it’s burned into the brains of rock fans, rock from all over the world, it never sounds as heavy in your head as it does when you actually listen to it. This is heavy almost to the point of parody and therefore impressive.

3.) “War Pigs” – from Paranoid, 1970

Another big hit, and from the same album, but “War Pigs” also demands its inclusion. The opening chord alone qualifies this song for the heaviness hall of fame.

4.) “The Writ” – from Sabotage, 1975

Some of Sabbath’s heaviest songs come from this underrated album, like “Hole in the Sky,” “Symptom of the Universe,” and “Megalomania.” They all probably belong on this list, but “The Writ” turns out to be the heaviest of the bunch to my ears, if only for the harrowing emotional punch it packs. It’s often overlooked just how much Ozzy’s vocals add to the actual heaviness of the Sabs’ denser material.

5.) “Falling Off the Edge of the World” – from Mob Rules, 1981

It had to include something from the Dio era and it was a mix between this and “Follow the Tears” from the 2009 album, “The Devil You Know”. That album, however, although it was recorded by the same personnel as “The Mob Rules”, was released under the band name Heaven & Hell, not Black Sabbath. So, I call this difficult choice on a technicality here. However, any one of these tracks is overwhelmingly heavy and makes a strong argument for Iommi and Butler’s ability to dish out world-class heaviness even with two very different musicians on drums and vocals (Vinny Appice and Ronnie James Dio, respectively). Another strong contender would be “I” from 1992’s “Dehumanizer.”

In the end, it’s really hard to pick five as the ultimate heavy moments for these guys. However, I think if you listen to these five songs in a row, you’ll see why people consider Black Sabbath one of the heaviest bands of all time.
