For starters, John Scolinas, great Cal-Poly Pamona trainer. He had a unique way of teaching using a combination of examples that were both instructive and entertaining. He always knew when he was speaking at coaching conventions. The room would be full.

Another of the best was Jerry Kindall, the great fundamental baseball coach from Arizona.

Skip Bertman is certainly on that list. The fact that LSU is in the College World Series again this year is a great testament to their hard work and team development. Paul Mainieri has picked up where Skip left off and continues the winning tradition.

Hill Denson was the patron saint of southern Mississippi for many years. His enthusiasm was a major factor in the success of the Golden Eagles. Coach Corky Palmer brought the team to Omaha this year so it’s

USM’s first appearance on CWS. Hill Denson laid the bricks. And Corky took it to the next level.

While Rick Jones’ Tulane University Green Wave missed the playoffs this year, he achieved a personal milestone by surpassing the record he had set at Tulane as the winningest coach in Tulane Athletics history. He is a great trainer, organizer and worker. This was recognized by his selection as coach of the United States Olympic Baseball Team.

Mike Martin, longtime coach at Florida State, a great fundamentalist, teaches the game as well or better than anyone. His teams are always ready to play. I’ve heard that this year could have been Mike’s best coaching year. The achievements of his very young team are due in large part to his leadership.

And who could forget Ron Polk. This great Hall of Fame coach has left a mark that will be difficult to overcome. His Baseball Playbook is the best fundamentals book to be found. When we talk about fundamental details, we are talking about Ron Polk.

There are many that I am leaving out and I have not even mentioned any of the great professionals. But here is the point. I was able to get a lot of information over the years from some of the best in the world, and I was also able to give back. I was privileged to be a part of that great college baseball coaching fraternity and spoke at many of the same NCAA conventions, usually about hitting.

We now have the privilege of making this information available to anyone who loves the game of baseball and wants to play or train to the fullest.

When you have a yeast infection in your mouth, it’s called thrush, it’s characterized by redness and white bumps, and it can be painful. Newborns, infants, and older adults are the most susceptible, but it can occur in anyone at any age. In healthy babies, thrush is usually not a serious problem and can be easily treated and cured naturally.

With a mild case of thrush, all you need to do is clean/sterilize bottle nipples and pacifiers regularly and gently massage the inside of your mouth with a clean, damp cloth.

If you’re breastfeeding, you should also treat your nipples so you don’t transfer the yeast infection between you and your child. There are antifungal medications available, but your baby can also eat those chemicals, so we prefer the natural approach. You can also apply lanolin to help relieve sore nipples.

If you wear dentures and develop thrush it is very important that you clean your dentures every night and also treat your mouth, here are the steps you need to take:

-Remove dentures before going to bed.

-Use a clean toothbrush and water to scrub them well.

-Soak them overnight in chlorhexidine gluconate, which you can get from a pharmacist. You can also use a denture cleanser (such as Polident or Efferdent) that is sold at most drugstores or grocery stores.

-If you use Chlorhexidine Gluconate to clean your dentures, you should rinse them very well in the morning. Do not use a fluoride toothpaste for at least 30 minutes, as fluoride has a debilitating effect on chlorhexidine gluconate.

There is a dye called Gentian Violet (1%). This dye will kill bacteria and fungi. The downside is that it only needs to be used once. If you can’t get rid of all the fungus, you should try another remedy. It is available without a prescription, but should only be used in adults. Here are some preventative tips that can help:

-It is necessary to have good oral hygiene habits, such as brushing teeth twice a day, flossing once a day and using an antiseptic mouthwash. If this is your second round with thrush, you need to replace your toothbrush.

– Practice good hand washing.

-If you need to take a liquid antibiotic, you should rinse your mouth within a few minutes of taking it.

-If you have health problems such as diabetes, HIV or cancer, you are at higher risk of thrush.

-You should rinse your mouth with mouthwash after inhaling corticosteroids

-If you have AIDS, Listerine may be particularly helpful in preventing yeast infections.

Here’s how to help reduce the risks of passing thrush to babies:

-During the last 3 months of pregnancy treat vaginal yeast infections. This reduces the chance of the baby getting thrush during delivery. Treating vaginal thrush also helps prevent the spread of thrush during oral sex.

-Wash all teats and pacifiers daily, if you prepare bottles and teats ahead of time, store them in the refrigerator to reduce the chance of yeast growth.

– Yeast can start to grow on a nipple after an hour, so if the baby has drunk from it, you should not continue to let him drink from it.

-Any object that the baby puts in his mouth should be put in the dishwasher or boiled for 20 min.

-As soon as your baby has wet, you should change the diaper. Warm, moist areas are the perfect environment for the yeast that causes yeast to grow.

-If possible, breastfeeding your baby is the best thing you can do for your baby’s health. There are antibodies contained in breast milk that will help your baby’s immune system so that she can resist infections on her own.

-If you are breastfeeding and your nipples are sore and red or have pain while breastfeeding, your baby may have passed a yeast infection to you.

If your baby has an infection elsewhere and needs antibiotics after each dose, they should rinse their mouth out with water. Taking oral antibiotics can cause the balance of bacteria in the mouth to be disrupted, which can allow the overgrowth of yeast that causes thrush. A simple rinse with water can go a long way in preventing oral antibiotics from altering the environment of the mouth.

If you have to give your baby medicine by dropper, try to avoid putting the dropper in his mouth. You can put the medicine on a cotton swab and then on the affected area. Then throw the swab away.

Do not put anything back into the medicine bottle to avoid cross-contamination with yeast.

There are things you can do to reduce the discomfort, such as drink cold drinks (avoid very sugary drinks), try water or iced teas.

Also flavored ice treats or frozen juice, as well as gelatin, ice cream, and custard that are easy to swallow. If it hurts when you swallow, try sucking gently through a straw. A warm salt water rinse several times a day can also make you feel better. (1 teaspoon-5ml of salt in 8 oz-240 ml of warm water).

Margaret Brown was more than an American socialite and philanthropist; she was a woman with a big heart and love for people. Maggie had humble beginnings that may have given her the concern for the less fortunate that she made her famous for. Born Margaret Tobin on July 18, 1867, in Hannibal, Missouri, to Irish Catholic immigrant parents who lived in a two-bedroom house, she had three brothers, one sister, and two half-sisters. Her parents were widowed very young.

When Margaret was eighteen, she and her older brother Daniel moved to Leadville, Colorado, with her sister Mary Ann and her sister’s husband. In those days, mining in Colorado offered many possibilities for a good job in the industry or in businesses that served miners and their families. Maggie lived with her brother in a small house and found a job in a department store. Margaret eventually met and married JJ Brown.

Maggie had the opportunity to marry rich men who made their fortune in mining and tried to court her. Instead, she married a self-taught businessman. When she was asked about that, she said:

“She wanted a rich man, but she loved Jim Brown. I thought about how I wanted comfort for my father and how I had decided to remain single until a man came along who could give the tired old man the things he wanted for himself. Jim was as poor as we are and he had no better chances in life. I struggled a lot with myself in those days. I loved Jim, but he was poor. Finally, I decided that I would be better off with a poor man. whom I loved than with someone rich whose money had attracted me. So I married Jim Brown.”

The couple married on September 1, 1886, in Leadville at the Church of the Annunciation. Over the next three years they had two children, Larry and Helen. In 1893 everything changed for the Brown Family. JJ was responsible for the discovery of gold at the Little Jonny silver mine owned by Ibex Mining. The switch from silver to gold production made the company rich and reversed the 90 percent unemployment rate among Leadville miners. Ibex gave him 12,500 shares and a seat on its Board of Directors.

Margaret donated her time and effort to work at a soup kitchen that catered to needy families of down-on-her-luck miners. She was outspoken about women’s rights and very active in suffrage for women to have the right to vote. Maggie assisted in fundraising efforts for the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (completed 1911). She also worked with Judge Ben Lindsey to help indigent children and establish the first juvenile court in the United States, which formed the blueprint for the modern United States juvenile court system.

Margaret’s social views were not supported by her husband, who had highly sexist beliefs about the role of women in marriage and society. Sadly, these views were typical among most wealthy men and their high-society wives in those days. Although it never happened to her, women were regularly and legally flogged by their husbands for almost any infraction. These may include serving dinner late, having a messy house, or not properly supervising children. Maggie also managed to annoy JJ and others by wearing oversized women’s hats to draw attention to her and her causes.

Within a year, the Browns were wealthy, and in 1894 they purchased a Victorian mansion in Denver. In 1897 they built a summer house near Bear Creek in southwest Denver. Margaret helped establish the Denver Women’s Club with other wealthy wives. The club’s mission was to improve the lives of women through education and philanthropy. Maggie embraced her new role by becoming involved in the arts and becoming fluent in French, German, Italian, and Russian.

Margaret Brown became a wealthy socialite, but she despised snobs. Maggie threw successful parties attended by many of Denver’s best known personalities. However, even after starting an association celebrating French culture (which was a favorite of wealthy women in those days), she was unable to get into Denver’s most elite women’s group, Sacred 36. Members of that group attended parties and exclusive dinners. by Louise Sneed Hill. Brown called her “Denver’s snobbish woman.”

Maggie’s early feminist views constantly annoyed her husband and some of the most influential members of the Denver Society. In 1909 Margaret and JJ signed a separation agreement. As religious Catholics, they were never divorced but lived apart for the rest of their lives. The two still communicated in a friendly manner and cared for each other. Margaret received a cash settlement, kept possession of her houses, and received a monthly allowance of $700 to continue her travel and social work.

Margaret Brown spent 1912 traveling through the Middle East and Europe. While she was in France, she received a message from Denver that her oldest grandson was seriously ill. She booked first-class passage on the RMS Titanic, which was the next passenger ship to leave for New York. Her daughter Helen was supposed to accompany her, but she decided to stay in Paris to continue her studies. Brown was transported to the Titanic aboard the SS Nomadic dinghy at Cherbourg, France, on the night of April 10, 1912.

On April 15, 1912, the Titanic collided with an iceberg at around 11:40 p.m. Less than three hours later she slipped below the surface. In the rush to save as many as possible, Maggie helped other passengers into her lifeboats, refusing to board her own. Finally, she was convinced to leave the ship in lifeboat no. #6. A newspaper later called the reckless Brown “unsinkable” and reported that she stubbornly refused to abandon ship until she helped as many as possible board the lifeboats, as well as her other life-saving actions. and help survivors.

When the Titanic sank, Maggie urged Quartermaster Robert Hichens to turn the half-empty lifeboat around and search for survivors. Hichens feared that the lifeboat would be pulled down by the Titanic’s suction or that people trying to get into it would swamp it, so he refused his request. Passengers on his lifeboat later told reporters that Brown threatened to throw the crewman overboard. After the survivors of the Titanic were picked up by the RMS Carpathia, Brown organized a First Class Passenger Committee to assist the second and third class passengers. They provided the essentials and even organized counseling.

Margaret Brown ran for a Senate seat from Colorado in 1914. She abruptly ended her campaign to return to France to work with the American Committee for Devastated France during World War I. Later, she used her newfound fame as “The Unsinkable Mrs. Brown.” “Speaking out for literacy for women and children, and better working conditions for miners. Maggie also continued to push for women’s rights and raise money for worthy causes like the Red Cross.

During the 1920s, Maggie fulfilled a lifelong ambition and became an actress. The desire that the public had to know her because of all the publicity that she received from her made people come out in great numbers. Her fame as a survivor of the Titanic and her unabashed candor made her an instant hit in the theater world. She outlived her husband, but on October 26, 1932, Margaret Brown died in her sleep at the Barbizon Hotel in New York City. The autopsy revealed that she died from a brain tumor. She was buried with JJ Brown at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, Long Island, New York.

Margaret Brown’s fame as a heroic survivor of the Titanic helped her promote historic preservation and the commemoration of the bravery and chivalry displayed by the men aboard the Titanic. During World War I, she worked with the American Committee for Devastated France and assisted wounded French and American soldiers. She was awarded the French Legion of Honor for her actions, activism and philanthropy.

Wild birds are surely capable of feeding off the land. However, when extreme weather conditions make things difficult for them, having an extra source of food or water can save their lives.

You may see flocks of red-winged blackbirds descend on your backyard seed feeder before they leave their northern range. Feeders can help prepare wild birds for their long migration journey. You can live on the southwestern coast of North America and see Anna’s hummingbirds at their nectar feeder in the winter. Wherever you live, your wild birds may certainly need a helping hand from time to time throughout the year.

Wild birds will come to feed at many different types of feeders depending on what type of feeder they prefer. Some birds prefer to forage on the ground or at platform feeders, as do cardinals. Others, like this male house finch, feed from the ground, platform feeders, tube feeders, and seed feeders easily, all as one. Still others, like the goldfinch, prefer thistle seeds from open fields or tube feeders.

platform feeders will attract Chipping Sparrows, Cardinals, American Tree Sparrows, Towhees, Pink-breasted Grosbeaks, Blue Grosbeaks, Song Sparrows, White-throated Sparrows, Skylarks, Evening Grosbeaks, Blue Jays, Magpies, Steller’s Jays, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Woodpeckers Fluffy, Mourning Doves, Black-headed Chickadee, Gray Catbirds, Eastern Bluebirds, Pine Grosbeak, Northern Mockingbirds and others.

Platform feeders can be as simple as a piece of wood on your picnic table or your own picnic table. However, that can be quite tricky. Another option would be to get a 4×4 post and nail a 12×12 or larger piece of lumber to the top of the post. Drill holes through the wooden board so the water doesn’t sit as a puddle. To prevent most food pieces from falling on the floor, you can take some thin wood cuttings and nail them to the edge of the wooden board. Nailing the wood trim to go around the edge of the wood board will help prevent most nuts, fruit, suet or bread from falling out. Although it is good if some of the remains fall to the ground, as this will also attract other birds who may like to forage on the ground more often.

suet feeders Attract: Blue Jays, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, Downy Woodpeckers, Hairy Woodpeckers, Northern Woodpeckers, Black-headed Chickadees, Tufted Chickadees, Nuthatches, Eastern Tile, Northern Mockingbirds, Brown Creepers, Gray Catbirds, Wrens, Steller’s Jays and more.

A suet feeder is usually made of wire mesh and is easily hung from a tree branch, coat hanger, or pole.

Fruit feeders/ Fruit and jelly feeders attract orioles, western tanagers, scarlet tanagers, and rose-breasted grosbeaks.

Fruit feeders often use jam cups like the feeder above, with pins on the sides to stick the orange halves together.

peanut feeders attract: indigo bunting, blue jays, woodpeckers, nuthatches, eastern tile and others.

Hummingbird feeders or sugar water attract more than hummingbirds. They will also attract Bullock’s Orioles, Baltimore Orioles, Western Tanagers, and House Finches, among others.

seed feeders Attract: Painted Bunting, Purple Finch, American Goldfinch, Siskin, Grosbeak, House Sparrow, Junco, Red Linnet, Red Crossbill, Tree Sparrow and many more.

It looks like the 2016 presidential election will prove to be a boon for the general aviation industry. It seems that all financial analysts, Flying Magazine, Private Pilot Magazine, EAA President, AOPA, AvWeb and Aviation Week and Space Technology agree: 2017 is the year that will break records and set a good pace for years to come. What does this mean for those of us in the general aviation services sector? It means ‘clear skies ahead’ and profit too.

Apparently, unlike the Obama Administration, the Trump Administration does not see aircraft owners as part of the Evil One Percenters, but instead sees them as winners. This is a good thing. New orders for Business Jet aircraft are already hitting record levels simply in anticipation of change under new management. Financing for new aircraft is also following suit, while smaller companies are investing in Air-Taxi Memberships, shared flights and fractional aircraft plans. All of this makes things look pretty good for those of us who would like to get back to making money servicing all these new planes.

Aircraft International News had a special report in December 2016 on the state of corporate aircraft financing that said;

“U.S. commercial aircraft fleet cycles this year are expected to approach levels last seen in 2003, according to statistics provided by industry analyst JetNet. At the time, there were 9,500 aircraft commercials in service in the US – there are 12,500 today.”

In fact, this trend is increasing rapidly. Ok, so what does this mean for aircraft retailers? Well, it’s a known fact that when aircraft owners purchase new aircraft, they are 50% more likely to put those aircraft on a cleaning regiment or regular customer program, which includes weekly washes and monthly details. It also means more use of current and existing aircraft, which equates to aircraft getting dirty in shorter time intervals. It also means that used aircraft will be sold again as new aircraft start to fall back. People who sell used planes make great detailed customers.

Overall, 2017 and 2018 look to be on track to break records in the general aviation sector and that’s just great news for all of us aeronautical service industry folks who would also like to have a couple of solid years to come. beat Records. If you already own an aircraft detailing business, it’s time to expand. If you want to start a new aircraft cleaning company, you have just been cleared to take off.

For all of you who are studying this article and don’t know who Tim Tebow is, let me take a minute or two to introduce you to this incredible star athlete. Before he was drafted in the first round by the Denver Broncos, and if you follow college football, you would know that he is the winner of the 2007 Heisman Trophy, which is the highest award given to the best college football player each year. anus. He is the first player to pass and rush for at least 20 touchdowns in a single season. He was awarded the Associated Press College Football Player of the Year Award in 2007. He is considered by many to be the greatest college football player of all time and he has won two national championships as a star quarterback for the University of Florida.

Although Tim Tebow has achieved a lot in his young football career, people have continually questioned his abilities as an athlete and as a person. The first thing I quickly admired about Tim Tebow was his relentless desire to prove critics wrong. From the time he was a ninth grader when he was told he wasn’t good enough to play quarterback to being projected as a second-round pick in the National Football League at best, Tim Tebow beat the odds. Instead of buying the desires and unconstructive opinions of his critics, he took it upon himself to go deep within himself to overcome the many obstacles that stood in his way.

You might be wondering, “What the heck does this have to do with network marketing?” It has everything to do with the industry. To successfully build any MLM business, you are going to run into all kinds of personalities who will find fault with what you are trying to do. The question is what do you intend to do when this happens? Are you going to give in and give up or are you about to do whatever it takes to triumph over your obstacles? By staying focused on your goals, you too can overcome whatever comes your way and become the star networker you were destined to be.

Another feature that piqued my interest, and perhaps the most important feature, is how hard Tim Tebow worked to secure a first-round draft pick before he was drafted. What was really impressive was the broad perspective of him working harder than everyone else to improve before the draft. Every time he saw him in a television interview, he would notice that he loved to exercise. He could tell that not only was he working hard for potential professional soccer groups, but he was also working to further his own game.

How often have you made the decision to work tirelessly to improve your network marketing business? Unfortunately, almost all network marketers still view their MLM business as a hobby rather than a legitimate business. This is the reason why more than 97% fall short in their attempt to succeed. Starting today, commit to working harder than you have in the past and in no time you’ll find yourself in the top 3% of this industry. Although it is a true statement that most of us will never reach the chosen position of a professional sports figure like Tim Tebow, but we can all work harder on ourselves in our own areas of business and personal advancement.

At the end of the day, I want to congratulate Tim Tebow for being such a positive inspiration for so many people to look up to. He is an example of what hard work and determination can produce in sports and business. Although you may never have met Tim Tebow, I believe that with his main traits of hard work and his ability to push boundaries, he could become an NFL superstar. What’s even better is that you too can become an MLM superstar if you develop the same angles towards your business that Tim Tebow has towards the football business.

In the same way that the English Premier Soccer League wants to take its league abroad for game 39, the National Football League (NFL) of America repeats its visit to Wembley to play an international series match between the New Orleans Saints and the San Diego Chargers. The game will take place on October 26 and it is understood that games of this nature will be repeated until at least 2010. Last year’s first game took place between the eventual champions of the ‘Superbowl’, the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Giants. Miami Dolphins.

The two teams selected for this year’s match are apparently high-class entertaining teams and have been purposely selected to put on a first-class show for the ever-increasing number of British fans. Both teams have great attacking ability, or to use American parlance, offensive ability, and promise to be a high-scoring game with little regard for defensive stratagems. It looks like both teams are led by the American equivalents of Kevin Keegan, if so then he should live up to the hype.

The last game at Wembley between the ‘Giants’ and the ‘Dolphins’ was a low-scoring game in which the ‘Giants’ won by 13 points to 10, but NFL officials want this next game to be high-octane. and please the crowd. Teams appear to be under orders to score at will.

The Saints and the Chargers have ‘Superbowl’ aspirations this year and hope to follow in the footsteps of the ‘Giants’; Both teams are expected to make the play-offs this season. If either team wins the ‘Superbowl’ this year, then Wembley can expect a lot of interest from other teams to visit in the next couple of years.

The big surprise to many is that over half a million UK NFL fans have already applied for tickets. In May, 45,000 tickets were put on sale and sold in 90 minutes, and in June another 15,000 were put on sale, which were also sold in half an hour. The final sale of the remaining 20,000 or so tickets will go on sale in September and if the organizers have any sense, they should increase the price by 500% as they will apparently continue to sell.

The obvious popularity of an American sport around here, that not many people understand, played by men who wear protective clothing and where the team changes every time it’s attempted, oops…sorry…a touchdown is scored, it’s something difficult for traditionalists. UK sports fans to understand. But there is no doubt that tradition counts for nothing and this new wave of NFL London is surely only the beginning of things to come.

There is no such award officially in the sport of baseball, but if there were, the plaque should be presented in honor of Pat Meares. He spent his nine-year career as the regular shortstop for the Minnesota Twins and later the Pittsburgh Pirates, a mediocre but fairly adequate infielder who was exactly average.

At no time was this more true than in 1997, when Meares’ top offensive stats exactly matched the stats of the average player in baseball. He hit .276, which was the exact overall batting average in both leagues combined, as were the ten home runs Meares racked up that season.

Those numbers would be far from average for the player who would win the Pat Meares Award at this point in the season, as his .276 mark is more than twenty points higher than the current overall batting average. On the other hand, his ten home runs would be significantly less than the league average, which is on track to hit nearly twenty.

So far in 2018, players have a collective .247 batting average in the American League and just .244 on the Senior Circuit, alarmingly low numbers compared to the decade Meares played. In fact, no team has a batting average as high as Meares’s in 1997, and the league-leading Boston Red Sox (.265) trail him by more than ten points. Surprisingly, four clubs have team averages below .230, surpassed by the Arizona Diamondbacks’ .220 overall average.

Although no one exactly matches the Mr. Average Meares was three decades ago, one guy in the American League comes pretty close. Oh, and it turns out that he’s not only a perennial All-Star, but also a future member of Cooperstown’s first Hall of Fame ballot.

With a .247 batting average, Albert Pujols is hitting the exact percentage of the typical player. The eight hits Pujols has amassed this year are just half a percentage point more than the average American League player.

Several guys in the National League are hitting .244, the exact overall average so far in 2018. Third baseman Evan Longoria of the San Francisco Giants is one of them, but his ten home runs have put him three above average. The other .244 hitter is Atlanta Braves outfielder Ender Inciarte, who is however three home runs shy of the NL average.

Orioles outfielder Trey Mancini is hitting the exact average, not for the league he plays in, but for the team he belongs to. His .228 batting average is the same mark he is hitting in Baltimore overall, tied with the Texas Rangers for the lowest in the American League.

There’s a Mancini equivalent in the other league, a player whose batting average is exactly equal to his team’s overall mark. Pittsburgh shortstop Jordy Mercer started the day at .255, which is also the collective average for the Pirates as a club.

Meares patrolled Pittsburgh’s middle infield fifteen years before Mercer, but the game they’re a part of has changed dramatically. A guy who scored twenty points above the current league average never made an All Star team or made the playoffs, and that season Meares earned $225.00 for being “Mr. Average.”
